Super Mario Galaxy 2

I read a review and the reviewer was creaming over that galaxy.

He also said it was the only game he would be able to recommend to anyone of any age.

Yeah I really like Puzzle Plank Galaxy. And I'm sure people of any game-playing age would enjoy it as long as they have good coordination and platforming skills.

The cloud galaxy is great, too. The level design is absolutely spot on. There's always a new Cloud Flower when you need it.

The game is so far perfectly done. All my complaints about the last one have been fixed. There are a lot more alternate routes and secret stars in levels, the remixed and new music is fantastic, the graphics are more crisp, and everything is great. It's deserving of all the hype it's getting.

Yeah, it's even better than 1. They really paid attention to the detail and fixed the very small flaws it had, to make what could quite possibly be the best platformer of all time. I mean, I'll have to reserve complete judgment until I finish it, but so far it's very special.

There are all sorts of little mark-out moments for Mario fans, like bongos being added to the music when you ride Yoshi, or the

as the first world boss. Little details and callbacks to the whole series, like NSMBWii did.

Yoshi could swim in SMW, although he did not 'swim' with his arms. Instead it was more of an underwater jump

So you don't like the idea of flicking your wrist or pointing at the screen? I mean that's really all there is in terms of Motion Control. I agree with you on some games using too much motion, but really SMG isn't one of them, and the motion they do use works perfectly.

Thanks to this damn thread I am buying the game in a couple hours. I don't care if I don't have the money to get it anymore, the game is too damn good to wait for, since I played a couple levels at the store on Friday.

I found the greatest star in the history of Mario games. It was a hidden star in the Cloud Mario galaxy in World 1 called "Every Planet Has A Price"

I marked out for that so so much.

And what I love with this is you do each galaxy two or three times and move on. Gives a level of variety which I feel the 3D games have been missing

I just stumbled on the stupid star-guy that wanted to eat 100 coins, and I found out the easy way to get unlimited coin. There are like 40 coin on that cloud, then go and watch the hint vid, and all the coins regenerate.

1. I agree, I'm only 9 stars in yet I have been to like 7 galaxies.
2. Leave it to Nintendo to do make the best games. Nintendo is the best video game developer out there, no doubt about it. Nobody could make a game as awesome as SMG2 (or even 1) on that (or any) system.
