There's a dozen threads on why the Divas suck right now, but the biggest to me: there are no characters. Jillian is a singer, and that's about it. At least on Raw that is.

And what's funny about that is she's the only one who gets a good reaction consistently. The fans always moan when they see her, because they HATE the character she plays.

There are so many awesome things you can do with women in pro wrestling. Jillian is a great example of that, and so is Mickie's old character when she first joined. Why WWE refuses to make these women complex ... I'll never know.

I guess they just want things to be as simple as possible with the audience they're targeting.

Can't remember who it was, but they claimed that it is Gail Kim's fault why she isn't getting over with the crowd. He didn't think that characters were needed.

It is Gail Kim's fault she isn't getting over, Mickie James is about 20 times more popular and gets just as much TV time, same goes for Melina. Nobody gives a shit about the divas because they are shit. People like Ivory and Jaqueline didn't have characters, but they could hold a decent match, so people didn't help them, then you have The Kat there to look like a slag.
