Raw 7-14-14 - Go home to Battleground - Let's find out what Sting was teasing

I really like this Swagger/Rusev program. I don't even know who I want to get the win at Battleground. I hope it keeps going to Summerslam.

For all the talk that we need to wait until Mania for Reigns to get his big moment, I just don't know. Imagine Battleground, Cena retains with heroics over Kane and Orton, Reigns just misses out. Reigns spears Cena, then looks on with dismay as it costs him the title and Rollins cashes in. Cena vs. Rollins vs. Reigns at Summerslam. Doesn't that sound awesome?

Yes, because why would they want their top star and proven draw to plug something? This really is common sense.

I'd assume we're supposed to believe they ran to the back to look for Ambrose. By showing them there, it would make them look stupid and uncaring. That would make them look bad and that's not what we're supposed to be doing. Again, please try thinking.

Actually they told you that these two are just some of twenty two people who could win the Intercontinental Title on Sunday. It's called using the big audience to make them part of the paying audience. Again, think before you make these stupid complaints.

Interesting how not blindly buying whatever WWE tries to sell me is somehow stupid. Cena was begging. You think that didn't make him look bad?

Even slightly less lazy booking could have shown Cena/Reigns run to the back and then eventually chase the other guys off. Not sure how that makes them look bad? The entire time that beatdown was happening I was thinking "what are Cena and Reigns doing?"

You don't plug the PPV match in the MIDDLE of another match. Since when is this the norm? They don't have enough time during the rest of the three hour show to do this preview? The two guys in the ring, who are also in the PPV match should be the ones selling and hyping the battle royal.

Colter was awesome. I like what he said about respecting the presidency regardless of if you agree with the man in office or not.

No. It makes him look like a WWE Champion who wants fans to see a good match.

Or we could have done it like it was done because you seem to be the only person to complain.

.....what do you think the commentary team does? Play hopscotch while a match is on? They hype the match, then they showed who was in it. It's a little hard for two people to sell a twenty two person match, especially when IT WAS DURING A CHINLOCK.

I mean, maybe watching MIz and Sheamus lay on the mat makes you want to buy a show, but seeing who was in the match was a bit more interesting for me.

I really like how they're making the Intercontinental title seem like a big thing. Showcasing the people who are in the battle royal and such. I think they're selling it well.
