Raw 7-14-14 - Go home to Battleground - Let's find out what Sting was teasing

I think it would have been a little too coincidental to have Cena and/or Reigns run back stage and find exactly where Ambrose was getting jumped. There clues were a dark corner with a cameraman.

I'm digging Miz's character for the first time in a long time. It's certainly a believable role for him. I wouldn't be surprised if he did win the IC title.

I wonder which face on the tron will be more offensive to WWE fans in the long run - Putin's, or Miz's?

Hey has an "official" tag team ever held the US and IC titles (at the same time) without holding the tag team titles?
Wouldn't that be an interesting feud concept?

IC & US Champ Tag Team versus Tag Champs?!?!

Just a random thought... has that ever happend before?

I think the closest has been bulldog and owen as European and IC.

Hey guys, don't worry about that match there. I'd love to see a hastily cobbled together assemblage of WWE roster portraits.

Sigh.

Not sure if you count HBK and Diesel as an "official" tag team but Diesel was world champ and Shawn was IC champ and they faced Yoko and Bulldog who were tag champs and all the titles were on the line.

The "Woooh" chants just reminded me that Flair is there tonight, now I have a feeling Flair is going to take Ambrose's spot in the 6 man.

Well, that was surprising. I really thought they were committed to just burying Miz.

Now, look at that. They've gone and organically added intrigue into a midcard match at the upcoming PPV. What a novel concept.

Nah it'll be this guy...

I get the whole heel authority wanting the heel wrestler to be champion. We've been watching that played out story for 16 years. It doesn't make much sense in this case. It made sense with Bryan because he was viewed as a B+ player. Why does the authority have a problem with Cena as champ? They've said he's an A+ player.

He's not their A+ player
