Raw 11/19/12 LD- One Year Later...

That shows that he has to use weapons to beat him and can't get the job done in a normal match.

Which would prove he can only get it done in a normal rules match because if Orton has the use of weapons then much like the multiple street fights they've had, he's just an RKO on the steel chair away from winning.

Even against prime Kane, the guy who brutalized Mick Foley and defeated Stone Cold during the height of his popularity? Doubtfully.

Argument can be made that a not even in his prime 2004 Orton brutalized Foley in a street fight and has beaten Triple H in extreme rules scenarios.

But neither of those guys were Stone Cold. What's it say about Orton when a past his prime Kane was booked over him in the biggest show of the year?

Good point but besides that cheap first blood victory has Kane ever pinned Austin in hardcore rules? Orton has done more than Kane regardless of the loss. I just don't see the argument holding up in the tournament unless it's normal rules.

Kane has won the WWE Title, World Title, and (went it was sort of relevant) ECW Title.

Still world titles no matter what. Remember when Kane debuted? Yeah that Kane can win easily against any year of Orton.

None of them mean as much as what Orton's accomplished. That same Kane was soon defeated by Austin and Taker and still lost the World title a mere 24 hours after cheaply winning it. Orton would beat Kane, just like he has the multitude of times before.

1.)Held it for one day
2.)Nowhere near as important as the reigns Orton has had
3.)Was less important than the tag team titles when it was around.

Actually that reign was extremely important. Even though it only lasted for a day, Kane dethroned the second most popular face in WWE history during the man's prime. Many of Orton's were as forgettable as Edge's.

Orton dethroned Cena. Yeah you can try making the Cena's no Austin comparison but for the time period that's the biggest thing you can do, and that reign was more than 24 hours and he actually pinned Cena and didn't just bust him open.
