Raw 11/19/12 LD- One Year Later...

I'd be tickled pink if Cena were to beat Punk for the title like the weekend before he breaks his record. That would make for gripping television.

my reaction to that segment...

Well that was a rather anticlimactic ending. Was expecting a little more. So much for the big guest list and the balloons... Oh well. C ya guys next week.

That was really anticlimactic for all the build up and hype they had goin all night.

I love the fact that Dean Ambrose is on my television but if they would have at least all taken off their shirts and had the Paul Heyman shirt on, it would have been much more impactful than "didn't we just see this?"

Good Raw. First time I've really enjoyed hearing Ziggler speak was when he was in AJ's face. The kiss was pretty cool. Cena can fight with a hard-on.

No answers on the three guys dressed as puppeteers but that is par for the course. Hopefully it won't drag to A's&8's proportions.

I think the angle could have benefited from just a little it of progression, but I do like that they didn't give it all away pre-maturely. This angle is hot, and tonight's Raw was really well done. Would I have marked out for a Steve Austin or Ric Flair type character? Sure, who wouldn't? But WWE needs to play off this Ryback story before he can move on to the Rock at the Royal Rumble. It wouldn't make sense to get more people involved, particularly when they have no place being there.

I thought originally a Brock Lesnar swerve, but no way they get him for TLC.

I think the whole story is hot enough for them to have pretty much done the same thing - especially with how good the Punk and Heyman promos were right before Ryback's interference - but something small could have appeased those who needed more than what they got at Survivor Series. Like, perhaps CM Punk standing in the ring with the NX3. No words need be spoken, but it adds to the curiosity. I didn't mind the way Raw ended, mostly because I liked the show as a whole so much, but I'll agree that they could have done something...anything worth talking about this week.

WWE won't do what TNA did with the Aces & Eights though. Next week Punk will be forced to address the situation.

Also think about this: a group of renegade NXT stars are destroying shit. The WWE Champion is out of control. Paul Heyman still has a small amount of influence and power. Vickie Guerrero is creating scandal. The WWE's top draw has been "injured" and its former general manager caught in the midst of an affair. If this isn't setting up the perfect moment for Vince to name a new, full-time GM I'm not sure what is.

The ONE thing I think absolutely needed to be addressed on Raw tonight was Mick Foley. After that loss is he just gone now? Does he no longer care about John Cena. Does his team just go their separate ways and not talk about what happened, ever again? I would have appreciated some closure from Foley, that's all.

I was thinking they looked like this guy.

You should be plenty old enough to get that reference.
