That's because Shield was originally an outsider group that didn't care what anyone else said and did their own thing. This version is very WWEized with the WWE look and feel to them. There's no edge to them and it feels like a standard WWE storyline, complete with Cole being SHOCKED at their return despite it basically being advertised as the big moment of the show

R.I.P. Kana / Asuka on Raw. 2017-2017. Strong debut, but buried by Alexa in a solid 2 months in a forgettable feud filled with awful Disney promos. Has to carry her to a semi passable throwaway match or two in there as well and something with Nia and a bunch of fatal whatever ways.

I could have been handled a lot better. They needed bigger fish to fry than Miz. Seems they realized it and then had them go after Braun, but they need something bigger and better to do. I hate to say it, but it would work best against a reunited Wyatts or an actual Balor Club.
