Joe should have gotten the belt there, still hoping he gets it when they take it off Roman.
Exactly, give Miz back the title, Reigns will win the Universal Title off Lesnar at Mania. Vince will finally get what he wants, and we will have King Roman for the next 25 years. Ugh it's enough to make me stop watching wrestling again.

They had an insane good match and does it really matter that Samoa Joe lost? Both guys fucking won and Samoa Joe will get his due. WWE's pushing the guy.
Just an opinion. Other than beat Cena once and a 51-year old man, he didn't do anything else that memorable. Didn't hold a title all year until winning the IC Title. I couldn't even tell you what Reigns did leading up to his match with Taker. Lost his feud against Braun. After his feud with Braun, he hasn't done anything memorable. Just me.

You could have given that title to almost anybody else. People want Balor to be relevant again. You could have very easily slapped that thing on Balor and made him mean something.

I mean, after the Braun feud he was supposed to be part of a Shield reunion, but then he caught whatever AIDS was floating around backstage in the WWE and was out for a month and a half or so. He eventually got healthy and did the Shield deal and then pretty much won the IC title.
Which is fine. Like I said... just my opinion. I'd put Styles head and shoulders above Reigns. I'd put Owens slightly above him. Reigns could be third. Honestly... Miz did some damn good work too. So he floats up in the upper echelon as well. And since it's all subjective, that's what makes wrestling fun. We like different stuff.

I hope tonight is the beginning of Balor, Gallows and Anderson forming an official stable.
I forgot he caught the disease and was out for a bit. I'm not even a Reigns hater. I just think there were 3-5 guys that did way more interesting work this year.
I will give you the Braun feud, but the Shield reunion wasn't just Reigns it involved Ambrose and Rollins as well. To be honest it wasn't as fantastic as it could have been either. With the illness and now Ambrose being injured it turned out to be kind of a bust.
The IC title could have gone to anyone as they are just a placeholder will the Miz comes back from filming the movie. I do agree they would have been better off putting it on Balor. He is more believable as IC champion than Universal champ, considering who is holding the title now and what the plans are for Mania.
