What exactly did I dodge, ok let's see the fact that Cena didn't event the STF, a move that has been around for years and no one really has made it famous except maybe Regal, with his Regal Stetch variation which he hasn't used in years. And your point was to compare that with the GTS that only one other guy has used becasue he invented it as his finisher.

At one point, all finishers were used exclusively by the originator. That doesn't make it theirs. The fame of the move doesn't make your argument any less absurd.

I disagree with you. However what you are calling me absurd about is only a third of what my original critique of your favourite wrestler CM Punk's current character. The fact that he has taken so much from so many others is annoying. Now the extremely tired old argument about wrestling has nothing original in it and blah blah is a cop out. The guys (one of which works with him) he has, let's say "borrowed" his schtick from are not retired, the innovated finishing move is still in use, and it's just great for him that most WWE fans haven't or refuse to see anything other than what Vince McMahon produces.

I watch wrestling from all different promotions, and what I see and what I think of certain wrestlers is my own opinion. You're tired old argument of everything is re-used in wrestling for me is just people accepting mediocrity and unoriginality. Personally I think Punk is an ok character, hell yesterday in another thread I was accused of being a biased one-eyed Punk lover... I just see what I see and I think that using someone else's stuff just lacks creativity.

You say the fame doesn't matter about a move. I ask this question, would be ok if Daniel Bryan started using the Stunner and winning matches each and every week with it? You will probably say yes it's fine, but most people will think that the move belongs to Austin and Bryan shouldn't use it...

Given the fact that quality wrestling has nothing to do with the variety and originality of the moves being used, and I'd say the argument holds true.
