I wasn't watching wrestling at the time of Randy Orton's debut. I was young and at that time had no interest in the WWE. My cousin on the other hand was a huge fan of it and I used to watch with him on occasion. I first started watching at the time of Evolution. My cousin was a fan of Dave Batista, and always told me that he would be the future of all wrestling. But I thought differently. Even that young I could see that Randy Orton was the future. I saw in him the skills that all main event wrestlers needed. In the end I think it was him who got me hooked on the WWE. I wanted the day to come where Orton would cast off the shackles of Triple H and Ric Flair and begin his own reign on RAW. I could tell that the only thing holding him back was the unfortunate shadow that was The Game. Evolution became the number one thing in the WWE and it was always Orton who secured their spot in my mind. Randy grew and grew in skill, donning the Legend Killer gimmick which matched his mind so well. He debuted the greatest finisher in years, the RKO, which he can use at any time to destroy his opponents chances. That's when Randy got his first chance at dominance, because on December 14th, 2003 he won the Intercontinental Championship. This is when people really started to see that Orton was the future. After a long run, ended by future teammate and enemy, Edge, he defeated Chris Benoit and became the youngest World Champion in WWE history. He had reached the big one. Randy Orton was there. After he... quit Evolution, Triple H became so jealous that he stole the title back. Orton realized how futile it was to try and usurp Triple H and his dominance, so he moved on to the best thing Pro Wrestling had going. Randy Orton challenged The Undertaker. After a quick relationship with one of the hottest girls in wrestling, Stacy Keibler, Orton attacked 'Taker and the match for Wrestlemania was set. The days leading up to the epic confrontation dwindled, and Orton was ready as anyone could be. At Wrestlemania the match came. Despite his best efforts, Randy Orton failed to end the streak. But the time of Orton was not over. Soon after the epic battle he followed Taker to Smackdown, where their rivalry continued. At Summerslam '05 Randy Orton proved that he was the Legend Killer by defeating The Undertaker, and two months later he buried The Undertaker, both figuratively and literally. At Survivor Series that year Orton won the Raw vs Smackdown elimination match, but his victory would become sour as Taker returned for revenge. Randy managed to dominate Taker until their final match, a Hell in a Cell match at Armageddon. In the end Undertaker came out successful, despite the fact that Randy actually had a winning record against him. But it was time for Orton to move on to bigger and better things. Orton was approached by Edge, who realized that Randy was the future and the best partner to have. The two began a rivalry with DX, who they ended up defeating and destroying. The team dominated the tag division, winning the titles. Orton had become a Triple Crown champion by this point, and began pulling ahead of comrade Edge. Orton began destroying legends left and right, and became the number one contender to John Cena's WWE Championship. Despite his dominance over Cena on many occasions, Orton couldn't find a way to steal the title. Then, at No Mercy, Cena was stripped of the title, and Orton recieved it. After a series of matches with Triple H, Orton walked out with the title. The Age of Orton had begun again. Over the next few months Orton would destroy the legend Shawn Micheals, dominate the returning Chris Jericho and kill all the momentum of Jeff Hardy. After Cena won the Royal Rumble and Triple H won the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out, the main event of Wrestlemania was set. The three men squared off, and after an amazing battle Orton walked out champ, one of the few heels to ever do so. After an injury to the hands of Triple H and a lost title, Orton took some time off. When he returned he was better than ever. Complete with his new stable, Legacy, Orton became dominating once more. He won The Royal Rumble and set his eyes on Triple H, and at Wrestlemania 25 they battled in an epic confrontation. Despite his best efforts Orton did not wind up on top. But it's not over. Because Orton is the WWE. He will win the title back. He is the future. And the future is now.
I would like to put my name in for vice presidency. I feel like I could help this club a lot. We have a lot of work to do and I could be your man.
