I didn't get into Buffy until after the Musical episode(which I loved) and I was into it hardcore until the very end.

Whaaaaaat? Man I LOVED Seasons 2 and 3, my favorite version of the Scooby gang was when they were still in high school with Oz and Cordelia still around and Faith trying to fit in. 4 took some getting used to but was good overall and I'm halfway through 5 right now and it's been great.

Buffy for the fucking win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spike is a legit badass, my favorite character in the Whedonverse.

This right here. Though, I will say I was also a fan of Season Seven Scoobies.

As for personal favorite seasons, I'd have to go with 5. Season 1 was too short, Seasons 2 and 3 were awesome, 4 was decent (especially seeing Giles as unemployed), and 6 and 7 were good.

True story: In Season 4 the episode "Hush" (which was nominated for an Emmy Award for Writing) had a very, very brief cameo from Andy Hallet, aka Lorne from Angel.

Edit: I find it awesome that X has only been watching a short while, but still uses Buffy Speak.

I went back and watched a couple of those, but I'm talking way back when they were new episodes. I loved Anya, she was so dangerously ditzy.

What, no love for Andrew? For shame, ChiHawks.

As for my favorite Whedonverse character? I'd say Fred and Faith, both. I would totally do stuff to both of them. In awkward places, too.

I must say I was never a huge fan of Andrew. Just like Spike I thought he was a pest (but he grew on me).

One of my favorite Spike quotes is from the episode Get It Done in Season 7 with his short back and forth with Wood.

ALL of Spikes back and forths with Robin were hilarious.

Me? I was always fond of Spikes heart-to-hearts with Joyce. So touching.

Lulz, Spike was always great. The end of Intervention (season 5) had me standing up rooting for him. That moment was fucking awesome!!!!!

Spike may be my favorite character. In large part because when we finally saw his origins, it made his reign of terror make sense. I loved seeing him as a poet. And I love watching him transform himself, trying to win over Buffy. I'm still on Season 5 though, so, I've got a long way to go. I'm watching the episode "Forever" right now.

Good episode. What are your feelings on Xander showing maturity beginning in S5?

I dig it, I've always liked Xander, never understood why alot of people hated him. He and Anya are so awesome together, his little speech to her about how much he loves her in either S4 or S5 was one of the most touching moments of the series so far.

Angel is starting to get awesome too, loving where they're headed in S2 so far.

So this is now a Whedonverse thread. DEAL WITH IT MOTHERFUCKERS.

Oh and OH MY FUCKING GOD I JUST CAME BECAUSE GILES IS LISTENING TO THE CREAM SONG "TALES OF BRAVE ULYSSES" AND THAT IS LIKE MY FAVORITE PSYCHEDELIC SONG EVER.

Sorry, caps explosion of awesome.

Wait 'til Season 7 mother fucker.

Tommy Pickles turns 21 this year. It makes me feel old.

Spike is fucking epic. And to think he was only going to be a one off character originally, or so I've read.

Yeah, him and Dru. Angel and the Master were supposed to be the only recurring vampire characters. Thank God Joss and Marti fell in love with the characters.

As for Tommy Pickles: Get that shit outta here! He is not Whedon-Related, GODDAMNIT!!!!!

Fuck the Master. He was a bitch. Although I have a question, if a rocket launcher could kill (or dismember) The Judge, why didn't they try and do it to Adam in Season 4?

Because that would be lazy? I think it had something to do with the lithium in his spine. That, and he was a government test, I'm sure the Initiative thought of that.

Solid point, more for argument purposes than anything.

Favorite Spike moment?

Hard to choose, there's so many. One would have to be he and Andrew discussing Blooming Onions on their "mission" to the monestary in S7. Another would be his reaction to Fred's imminent death. And, of course, his rant on Xander in "The Body" when Xander accused him of using Joyce's death to get into Buffy's pants.
