R-Truth Situation

Am I the only person who thinks it's absolutely hilarious that R-Truth couldn't be at Raw or Smackdown this week because he is denied entry in to Canada? Especially since he is on Raw's Bragging Rights team and this week's programs are the all important lead-in programs for the ppv. I'm wondering why he was placed on the team in the first place since WWE had to know the travel schedule far in advance. Was he denied entry last time they went there? If so, this should have been worked out in advance.

I realize this isn't a huge deal but I would be a bit embarrassed sitting at home watching my team in the ring and Alex Riley being used as my "placeholder" to make the teams look even while face to face in the ring.

Also, how screwed up do you have to be to be turned away by Canada? They let MVP in and isn't he a legitimate ex-con?

I'm sure R-Truth got into trouble in Canada and that's why he wasn't allowed back in.

When I was watching Raw, I was puzzled as to who was missing. I didn't realize it was R-Truth until I looked up the team. What I'm trying to get at here is R-Truth is insignificant. I just assumed something happened and they swapped Riley for Truth on the team in general(which I'd probably rather).

You are absolutely correct. Raw vs. Smackdown on Monday Night Raw....no R-Truth and not even a single mention of him. Raw vs. Smackdown on Friday Night Smackdown...no R-Truth and not even a single mention of him. You know you are insignificant when you are a main part of the team yet you aren't missed or even mentioned by the announcers, even with a fake excuse as to why he wasn't there.

This also possibly denied Tyler Reks a much needed match on Smackdown to put him over a bit since he is quite possibly the least known person on either team. They couldn't pair him up with Riley because they would then have to address the issue of why Riley is representing the team instead of Truth.

I also agree with you that I would probably prefer Riley over Truth anyway. Have Eve accompany HIM to the ring and he has my vote. He's already a million times better on the mic than Truth anyway.

I know it seems like it, but I'm not an R-Truth hater. I just don't think he should have been on the team if he couldn't represent his brand during this very important week of programming leading up to the ppv.

Just because of the fact R-Truth hasn't been with Team RAW ever since he got put on the team is enough grounds to take him off the team. I would replace him with Riley this Sunday and maybe during a backstage segment at Bragging Rights, The Miz could take jabs at Truth for leaving and kick him off the team and telling him to his face that Riley is replacing him.

They did give him a video package on RAW, but that's the only mention I've seen. he looks like he's getting involved with the Nexus/Cena thing due to that little backstage promo anyway, so why not have Riley on the team? Don't get me wrong, I'm a big R Truth fan, but I'd rather him be more involved into the NexusCena thing if that's what they are doing with him than to be bothered with team RAw

If WWE decided to keep him in after knowing that he wouldn't be at the last RAW before the PPV then they must have really wanted him in it. That shows a lot about him & WWE, they could have given his spot to Mark Henry (who appeared on last Monday's RAW). I honestly forgot he was in the team, I didn't even realize he was missing until I read that he couldn't be in the country.

R-Truth has a lot of Canadian fans bud, and I care because I'd love to see him perform in the ring live in Canada but that won't happen anytime soon.. I really Really REALLY don't get why the IWC hates on R-Truth, he's in my top 10 but maybe I'm just crazy. I'd rather see R-truth tearing up Smackdown instead of Kane, Taker and Big Slow that's for sure!
