Premier League Final Positions Prediction

Tastycles

Turn Bayley heel
I know there'll be movement in the Transfer market, but fuck it, you should have to do this before the league starts. I'll come back at the end of the season and we can see who's won.

1. Chelsea
2. Man City
3. Man United
4. Tottenham
5. Arsenal
6. Liverpool
7. Swansea
8. Everton
9. Norwich
10. West Ham
11. Aston Villa
12. West Brom
13. Fulham
14. Newcastle
15. Sunderland
16. Southampton
17. Crystal Palace
18. Stoke
19. Cardiff
20. Hull

I really like Palace, so that's wishful thinking - they'll probably come last.

I really like Palace

Stop it, you're hurting me.

I actually think Chelsea will win it but I already bet Ming that they wouldn't, so I'd better stick to my guns.

Arsenal above Man U? I'd like to believe it, but it just doesn't sit right with me - regardless of where Suarez and Rooney end up.

I'm not going to the trouble of listing every team in the league, that's just silly. There's a massive mid-section of that league that doesn't mean a thing. Stoke will be in there somewhere.

Man City for the league. Palace, Norwich & Southampton for the drop. Why? I dunno. Just guesswork, innit!

Yeah, effort of ranking places 8 through 17.

Chelsea win, with United as runners up.

If Arsenal do the right transfer business, they finish third ahead of City.

Spurs and Liverpool make up the Europa spots.

Sunderland, Palace and Hull for the drop.

If Arsenal get Suarez and maybe a centre mid, I can't see a Fergieless United finishing above Arsenal. Fucking Tom Cleverley starts for them.

I'm sure we did this last year, I'd love to see how those predictions worked out.

In summation, Chelsea walk away with the title, Man U suffer, Mark Hughes works his magic at Stoke and gets them relegated, Palace and Hull are down before April starts.

It genuinely wouldn't surprise me if Wenger's long-term plan for success was:

Step 1: Wait till Fergie and Mancini leave.
Step 2: Trophies!

And he just wasn't expecting Mourinho to be back.

Chelsea and Man City top two, I think it will be a close run thing between Spurs, United and Arsenal this season and a failure to add to the squads earlier in the transfer window could really hurt Arsenal and United. As for the final European spot I'm going to stick my neck out and back Swansea. They play a very exciting style of football and the players they have brought in this season fit that style perfectly. I am very excited to see how Wilfred Bony blends with Michu for them.

For the drop I think Crystal Palace will go down fighting, but go down all the same. Hull City are going to find it hard and I'm going to say Southampton too but there could be a few teams pulled into that relegation scrap heap.

As for the people backing Sunderland and Norwich to go down, bitches be crazy?

Norwich have signed some incredible players in this transfer window and I expect a comfortable mid table finish from them. Sunderland have got practically a whole new team which might find it hard to gel early on but Di Canio is a winner and I expect him to have them playing to a very high standard.

Man City are currently losing 3-0 to Arsenal in a friendly, after spending £80 Million so far, compared to Arsenal, who have actually made a profit so far this year and haven't made a major signing yet. And it's two major PL teams a week before the season kicks off, so it's not a real friendly..

And people still think City will be top 2?

20. Crystal Palace

I would say that Mourinho, Wenger, Villas-Boas and Pellegrini are all better managers than Moyes and arguably all have better squads. If Man U lose RVP to an injury they're going to be fucked.

I still think a big part of this season comes down to what happens with Suarez and Rooney.

Also, sucks to be Aston Villa. They're gonna go 0-2 in the first week. Cant' believe I'm going to be at a wedding for Chelsea/Manchester next weekend.
