Hard Hit Prince
Not really working as a

I'm just summing up a lot of reports that have been posted at various websites from PWTorch to Wrestlinginc about potential returns to WWE Television, particularly at The Royal Rumble Match - and some of them are big figures that people have been overlooking and forgetting.
1. SHEAMUS
The former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion has been sidelined with an injury, early reports stated that he would be out until the January pay-per-view and the most recent reports note that he'll be in Pittsburgh two days after the event.
Last time we saw him, he was not in a singles feud or involved in any storyline. He lost a match cleanly on Raw to Daniel Bryan right before SummerSlam 2013 and he's off ever since. Therefore I can see why it would be hard to get him in once again involved with the current programming, but as one of the WWE's top babyfaces it sure as hell means that he'll be returning to the ring this Sunday to boost the match - and we should never take it lightly the fact that a former Royal Rumble winner (2012) has a special return at one of the biggest matches of the year. Overall we all know that Sheamus works a lot better as a villain, but inside the ring he's a good worker in both hands and can tell a good story - but how's WWE putting him back as a babyface when they already have five big big babyfaces in John Cena, Batista, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and The Big Show? A lot to be expected and an interesting subject to discuss about the Celtic Warrior.
2. CHRIS JERICHO
That's right IWC's favorite part-time wrestler Chris Jericho is once again slated to return at the Royal Rumble event. After last year surprising everybody and getting one of the biggest reactions (as well as one of the best performances) the first ever WWE Undisputed Champion seems to be going after it once more. But what for? Last time we saw Jericho he was in a feud with "The Big Guy" Ryback and he even put him over at WWE's Money In The Bank PPV, this right after stealing the show at WWE Payback and creating a lot of buzz around one kid named Fandango at WrestleMania.
Some think that his return is only to put young guys over and there is even a thread in here about a potential Chris Jericho v. Big E. Langston feud towards WrestleMania, but will they use Jericho as once again an enhancement talent? Because let's be honest, he can still go with the same amount of passion and determination as he could back in 2001/2002 and even later with the re-creation of the methodical Jericho on SmackDown. Will he go after Randy Orton as well? Or could The Undertaker's streak be a goal? I for once believe that him and Miz could create a very unique tag team and run with it for sometime, but unfortunately WWE only sees the value of Jericho in losing to younger stars and maybe that young star could be The Shield's Dean Ambrose... A lot of paths to take for the former multi-time World Heavyweight Champion.

3. CHRISTIAN
The former World Heavyweight Champion - Christian was last seen as one of The Shield's latest victims when they put him out to scare WWE Hall of Famer Edge. He also had a cameo appearance at 2013 Slammy Awards where he showed signs that he was still injured. But does WWE remember that? Will Christian return at this years Royal Rumble and go after the members of one of the best factions that WWE created? Or could he just be put in the back burner for the remaining time of this Road To WrestleMania? Either way, latest reports state that he's ready to return, he's healthy and he still is a good asset to WWE's roster.
4. EVAN BOURNE
WWE's resident high flyer has been out for over a year with an injury after a car crash. The 30-year old performer from St. Louis has been hinting that his return could be imminent and that he's ready for action for sometime now. His latest pictures show a more jacked up Evan Bourne and a more determined person to get to the top. But will the former WWE Tag Team Champion return at this year's Royal Rumble? If that's so, what will he be doing in The Road To WrestleMania? With Kofi being promised a singles push and a renewal of his character it's unlikely that Air Boom could reunite, it is also unlikely that Evan Bourne could get a singles push ahead of people like Big E. Langston, Damien Sandow, The Shield members and Bray Wyatt when it comes to have a match at WrestleMania 30.
So my money is on the postpone of Bourne's return to after WrestleMania. He is still one of the most exciting wrestlers WWE has, and the live crowd as shown more than once their appreciation for the appearance of the former Matt Sydal. Thus that mean that he'll be getting a push by his return? Or that he'll just be put alongside Tyson Kidd and JTG in the "wanted" list?
5. ROB VAN DAM
The former WWE and ECW World Champion made his return last year at Money In The Bank with a 90+ day contract. In that time period he had feuds with the likes of Alberto Del Rio and Dean Ambrose but what does he have in store for the future? It's been reported that "The Whole Fn Show" could return for WrestleMania season as his contract obligations state that he'll have a 90 day run, time off and another 90 day run until WWE finds him as a loss of money and time. Could he be one of the surprising returns for this years Royal Rumble? Maybe #2 and square off against a CM Punk in the beginning of the match. I can see him getting a spot at WrestleMania, maybe against someone like Big E. Langston or even Ryback if that's what they are aiming...
- Other new stories could be the return of Drew McIntyre to his former gimmick as the Chosen One as he's been hinting that on Twitter for sometime now and getting himself in what seems a storyline with Sheamus.
Discuss everything about possible returns and what you would like to see of said superstars going forward in one of the most exciting roads to WrestleMania.
