Poll: Is Final Deletion/Broken Matt Hardy brilliant or awful?

I'll remember it. I can't think of the last thing I remember from TNA before.

Honest question, as I haven't watched TNA in a really really long time. Was that an actual episode of Impact, and if so, was it all on one episode, or was it dragged out over several weeks? Or was that some sort of direct-to-YouTube farcical production?

Because it was entertaining for what it was, in a train wreck, holy crap I can't believe what I'm seeing, sort of way. But if that was an actual episode of Impact, then it was brutal.

Everyone watches wrestling for a different reason, and to each his own. But I don't watch wrestling for that type of nonsense. Admittedly, I don't watch it for food fights either, but at least that was 5 minutes at the beginning of a 3 hour show, as opposed to this train wreck, which must have consumed half of the 2 hour episode, if it were an episode of Impact.

Glad to know that my total abstinence from anything TNA over the last few years was the right decision. Unfortunate, though, that we likely won't be seeing the Hardy Boys back in a WWE ring anytime soon.

It also was ten minutes of complete unrealistic bullshit.

And that's exactly why I loved it. It was totally over-the-top and crazy I found it impossible to not be entertained by it. I actually found myself disappointed that it was over because I wanted it to keep going.

I think Lucha Underground has shown there's a market for cinematic and "out there" stories in wrestling, even if it is a niche market. But it's a market that I think TNA should try to exploit.

It starts out at some party for a child, and Matt looks like a lost member of the band Kiss. Then apparently he is sick. And no one can speak English. And then drones enter Jeff's house. And then Jeff takes out one of the drones with a guitar. And then Matt appears from one of the drones. Then Jeff chases one of the drones on a motorcycle. And then Matt is riding a lawnmower. And then there's a wrestling ring, and some old man is placing various objects up under it. And then the girl and child shows up, and no one can speak English again. And then some ref is driving a car and it's night time. And then Jeff shows up.

Yeah I'm done. This is extremely stupid and worse than Mark Henry and Mae Young. Not as bad as Katie Vick, but pretty darn close.

As a character, brilliant. He stands out far more than he ever did. I love his accent, and what he says is often very quotable. In ring he's passable. But I think his character more than makes up for it. I never thought I'd have an interest in Matt Hardy ever again. He's proved me wrong.

It reminds me of that horrible WCW Beach Blast movie starring Vader, Vicious, Sting and Davey Boy Smith, but with a wrestling match in the middle of it. For some strange reason I started busting out laughing when Jeff brought that rubber leaf fence in the ring and threw Matt into it, you could hear the little sticks breaking clearly and it was just the start of the laughing. What other match had slow motion, a fireworks fight and a fucking flashback? So bad it's good is my opinion.
