Pick A Movie Death

Y 2 Jake

Slightly Autistic
Everyone wants to die in a cool way. It's not said, but mentally we all think it. So which death, from which film would you pick for yourself?

I'd like to get stabbed by a dwarf in a red mac a la Don't Look Now.

Hmm, well if I had to die like someone in a movie, I would have to go with the bus death from Final Destination 1. Quick and memorable. I want something that people a decade from now is still going to be telling in a fucking urban legend. Yeah, kick ass.

Not wait, I changed my mind. I want to die like either Gary Beuse in The Firm or like Nicholas Cage in Leaving Las Vegas. Sex death is cool. Yeah. That's how I want to go.

Jake, you never fail to lift my spirits with obscure references that only we understand.

Don't Look Now is one of the greatest thrilllers of all time, and the ending still horrifys me and disturbs me to this day. Such a great damn film.

I'd like to be drowned in an outhouse's toilet, ala that random girl in Sleepaway Camp 2. Everyone will remember that death.

Never seen it, but now I know what I'm watching tonight.

The movie sucks. That is if it's that Trevor Murdoch killer that's a wannabe Jason, if it isn't. I'm thinking of the wrong movie.

Yeah you're definately thinking of the wrong movie, considering the killer in the Sleepaway Camp trilogy is a transexual woman.

Best trilogy ever. The 1st movie is a classic slasher movie from the 80s that's actually got some geniune horror to it, while parts 2 and 3 are simply the worst movies ever made, but in a good way. Like Steven Seagal movies---they're terrible by all critical accounts, but you can't help but love them because they're so bad.

Sleepaway Camp 2 is the best. So much gore and so much humor.

Thats what I'm in the mood for. I'm not going out tonight cause I already feel like shit and I have to work for twelve hours, so its shitty movie night. Am I going to have trouble finding these?

The only film where the death scenes were so clever, gruesome, and realistic that I actually felt physically ill by them. From the tounge scene in the very opening all the way to the leeches in the outhouse. The guy who did the special effects earned the nickname "splatter" but IMO he should be a household horror name like Savini after his work in this film.

Ya might. Since you're trying to watch it TONIGHT, I'm guessing that means you're gonna go searching for them at your local DVD store?

Depends really. They might have it. Any DVD store with atleast a semi-good horror movie selection will have it, but you're not going to find it at Barnes & Noble or Best Buy most likely.

They're incredibly cheap too, store round here sells all three of them for about 6 bucks each. So worth it. So very worth it.

Your best bet is to go to the nearest "alternative" movie/music store, good chance they'll have it. And if not, just get the movie "The Toxic Avenger". Because any movie where the line "I always wanted to cornhole me a blind bitch!" is said directly after shooting the girl's seeing-eye dog with a shotgun, is a classic in my book.

I love you IC25. I can't believe you've seen any of those movies! Aren't they just so incredibly terrible that it puts them to a whole new level of greatness? I could literally watch parts 2 & 3 again and again and again without ever getting tired of it, and laughing all the way through.

She's got better one-liners then Freddy, that's for sure.

BTW Wes, I remember seeing Bloody Murder 2...worst...fucking...movie...ever. And not in a good way.

There are two places I have in mind, one is an "alternative" music/movie store that I haven't been in since I was 17 and the other is this hole in the wall shop that has the most obscure movies.

I want to be hung, then preserved as an undead spirit for 150 years before fulfilling a personal unfinished business and then fading into the sunset like Carter Slade in Ghost Rider.

Didn't somebody die from being in a port o potty in The Hills Have Eyes 2?

I would wanna die like Dorian in The Mask, and get flushed. OR get diced up by lasers like Resident Evil.

Brother brother brother. That is so gay. Why don't you just die like the doctor in the elevator in The Omen 2? lol I swear to god, I had to erase that movie from my memory and am still scared on elevators because of it.
