Penn State Season To Be Canceled?

I'm watching the Ed Show (politics/news show) and his question of the night is should Penn State cancel the rest of their games this season. This was mentioned on PTI as well today.

What in the world does that solve? The current team and its players had NOTHING to do with this. Why should they be penalized for something that was done 9 years ago and was done by people no longer associated with the program for the most part?

Am I crazy here or is that a ridiculous idea?

it is a ridiculous idea. If they did nothing then there is no reason to punish the team

It's pretty bullshit, but I don't think they're going to cancel the season to penalize anybody. They would do it because they need to get this mess straightened out.

Either way, I don't think they will. They can't afford to pay for athletic scholarships for students who have no chance of getting into the NFL, because they never had a full college career.
