In my opinion edge is ok on the mic, not that great in the ring, and he has a terrible finisher. He is certainly past his prime but do we tihnk he has been overrated or underated? by overrated i mean should never be a 10 time champ or by underrated should have reaached cena status?


personally i think hes been big time overrated.

While Edge is not as great as he used to be, which isn't his fault as injuries have caught up with him, he still is awesome. I don't think he is overrated or underrated more like in the middle. It's absolutely crazy that he is a 10 time world champion in the course of what 5 years or so? I think that hurts his credibility a bit seeing as how it makes him a transitional champion and he usually lost the title in his first title defense. He is a great worker though and very loyal to the business. Plus he's the go to guy at the moment while Taker is out. Is Edge one of the best ever? Possibly I wouldn't argue against it. He is definitely not Cena over and never has been, but he is a future hall of famer without a doubt. So I would say right in the middle

Personally, I'm not a fan of Edge; I think he's stale and boring. However, he's not not overrated. No superstar or wrestler is 'overated,' as a wrestler is as good as the fans and viewers make him. There's a reason he's a ten time World Champion, and that's because he gets such a reaction from the crowd. He gets that reaction from the crowd because he's rated highly. He's rated highly because the fans and viewers (the ultimate judge) rates him that high.

That being said, I'm not a fan of Edge and I rate him lower than the average fan. It wasn't until he went to Raw and had to share the spotlight with the likes of John Cena and Randy Orton that I realised Edge doesn't entertain me anymore. He severely struggled on Raw, and the reason was he wasn't special enough, or entertaining enough. Edge only thrives when he's the clear top dog, but when the main event is crowded, he begins to fade.
