Of all the songs on Ride The Lightning probably ranks as about the 5th best, and that's more a tribute to how great that album is, more than it's a knock on the song. I love this song, the lyrics are probably my favorite part, but the heaviness of the music is phenomenal. While looking for Hatebreed's new album, I came across a covers album that they released earlier in the year, that somehow passed right by me. This song was on there.

I'm going to say first, that Metallica's is clearly my favorite version of this song. But, I do like Hatebreed's version as wel. Jamey Jasta has a voice made for hardcore, but he does well on a metal song, and they did a good job of tuning down the music to better fit his voice, and for the most part, he covers the vocals well. It's just...different. Metallica wins this for me.
