Ongoing Thread For Smarmy Spam Responses to the WZT

I originally voted for Andre in his match against Goldberg and then after I voted, I immediately wanted to take my vote back. I read some pretty surprising arguments in favor of Andre, however, the one that took the cake had to be when a certain poster suggested that Goldberg didn't respect the business and therefore Andre wouldn't let Goldberg go over.

Seriously? I've read some pretty appalling arguments before but are we really going to start using backstage politics, something that we'll never be able to prove, as reasons why certain wrestlers would go over others?

Where has it ever been stated or even rumored that Goldberg disrespected the wrestling business? I mean hell, if we're going to start using politics as voting reasons then shouldn't Hogan beat everybody? I've heard it said by several people that Hogan is who he is because of the way that he does business. How do we know if it's true or not though?

It's just a silly argument.

I've only voted in three matches, most recently voting for Vader since IC has me thoroughly convinced that he would literally kill Austin in that match.

It's the same ******ed logic from last year. We're going to have to change that joke from "Hogan can't climb a ladder" to "Andre can't climb a ladder."

Feel free to actually read what I said. I'll make it easy and stick it here again for you:

"The ladder. Yes, as I said, Andre isn't incapable of climbing a ladder. But he can't do it like Goldberg can. He would need that re-enforced ladder that the Big Show has brought out a couple of times, and Big Show could barely lift that thing it was so heavy and sturdy. Goldberg can climb a normal sized ladder and he can be super quick:"

1) Booking wise Andre needs that re-enforced ladder. That's not debatable. If Big Show needs it, which it's been shown that he does, so does Andre.

2) The re-enforced ladder is huge and clearly really fucking heavy. I'm not suggesting that Andre can't lift it, but merely that lifting it is not easy and is going to take him time to retrieve and set it up, during which time Goldberg is going to have to be incapacitated.

3) Andre is a big, heavy man. Even if this was a task set outside of wrestling, outside of kayfabe it's going to take him longer to climb whichever ladder he climbs than it will Goldberg with his respective ladder. INSIDE of wrestling, it's going to take Andre much longer to climb a ladder than Goldberg, but Goldberg was quick, not just for a big guy, but for any size of person, and Andre may have been a decent pace for his size, but that still makes him relatively slow.

4) If you don't think the stipulation favours Goldberg, you're wrong.

You realize that kayfabe isn't concrete and is subject to change at all times right? Last I checked Andre wasn't Big Show. The fact that he'd need a super ladder is a stupid argument. Thus Andre can't climb a ladder will be the new joke.

I must admit that I've voted in a few matches just to spite shattered for the lulz.

It really looks like most of the time he goes into a thread, see who most people are voting for, and will start arguing for the other person. Makes me take him less seriously.

In matches where I don't know who to vote for, I check and see who Dagger voted for a pick the opposite since that'll be the right choice 95% of the time.

Andre/Goldberg is 50/51 respectively. Somebody vote for Andre. I like seeing where draws go.

You just made the list bro.

Which matches? I find it hard to believe you voted for Cena and against Rock because of me. If the match involved Punk I am equally as skeptical.

I don't care one bit what the results of any of these matches are, I just voted for people you voted against and then once for Vader because I like IC25's argument and once for Andre because I like seeing people get all pissed off about ties.
