I just think Punk is better than Shawn. They're on fairly equal footing as 2nd or 3rd tier draws, they're both great in the ring. I just like Punk's performances better.

In the ring HBK is more exciting to watch. Punk is good at selling, ring prowess, but he can only have great matches if you put someone who is GOOD in with him like an Orton, Cena or Bryan. He does a hideous elbow, and quite honestly, for me, isn't as enthralling as HBK was.

He would need that re-enforced ladder that the Big Show has brought out a couple of times, and Big Show could barely lift that thing it was so heavy and sturdy. Goldberg wins any way you look at it. A ladder is not going to survive Andre, period. Maybe that industrial size ladder that Big Show uses whenever they throw him in the MitB match can stand a chance, but by the time he gets his heavyset self up there (slowly, due to the heavyset part), Goldberg will have already took him down and speared him.

I never said that a single rung could hold Andre's weight, I said the ladder itself could hold Andre's weight stepping on different rungs. Why are you assuming that Andre is such a slow fat uncoordinated fuck that he'd have to climb, then pause, one rung at a time? He wasn't 540 in his prime you know.

Was Andre not a quality draw like Goldberg? Was he not a quality draw for a longer period of time? Since both men were billed as faces in their primes, that's what this match would be. Goldberg lost face vs face matches to Bret Hart, and he never managed to regain the title once he lost it. And this was during the same time period that guys like Steiner, Booker T, and DDP had multiple world title reigns.

Against a prime Andre as a face, given his track record prior to losing the title, this would be Goldberg's match to lose. If you use the streak as Goldberg's prime, did he defeat any other faces that were even close to Andre's level of popularity? IIRC most of the guys he beat were either heels or mid carders.
