It seems life really does imitate art.

So Mickie James is once again dealing with the fallout from an angle that ran a year ago. Im not bashing her for it(I personally prefer her "type" to that of an Angelina Love or Michelle McCool), or attempting to re-hash it, I think its quite the shame that the issue has re-surfaced again.
For those unfamilar, approximately a year ago, WWE ran an angle with Mickie and LayCool, where Mickie was rundown and nicknamed "Piggie James." This angle was apparently run over WWE's unhapiness with Mickie over her weight in real life. McCool ran her down on the mic every week, where Layla dressed up as a fat suit claiming to be Mickie. Sure, it paid off in a token title reign for James, but she lost the title 2 weeks later and was soon released. The Wrestlinmg Observer's annual awards named it "Most Disgusting Promotional Tactic of 2009".
Fast forward almost a year later, and Mickie James signs with TNA. New company, fresh start. The problem is, while TNA's Knockout division used to emphasize wrestling despite shape or size(Awesome Kong comes to mind), its complete emphasis is now on tits and ass. And hey, as a guy, I love TBP's entrance! I loved the Tara and Madision tease two weeks ago when they kissed! But they've traded what was mostly credible female wrestling for sexuality.
Granted, the PWInsider report was a one time report, but Mickie was very hesitant to re-enter the wrestling world on a regular basis.
My question is, did Mickie James make the right decision in signing with TNA? Is this truly a fresh start for her, or is that emphasis on sexuality bringing back old issues for her in a "certain body type" shaped industry? Id love to hear from some women on this one. Is this truly much ado about nothing? Or will it keep Mickie James from being able to truly shine in TNA the way it seemingly began the train wreck of issues that prematurely ended her WWE career?

Several TNA staffers noted Mickie James looked insecure when the Beautiful People were doing their ring entrance.
