Here's the thing. I know all of us in the IWC are armchair quarterbacks who at times are overly critical of the action and the superstars, as if we could somehow do better. And I'm as guilty of that as anyone. But in my opinion, I see little to no appeal in ADR from any perspective. I think his in ring work is barely average. He's horrible on the mic, largely because of his inability to improvise as someone else already suggested. I think he is operating with an old and tired gimmick which has been done by others before him, and much better. I'm not suggesting he should be future endeavored or anything drastic like that, but he is the personification of the IWC concept of someone who's "not ready" for the main event. Put him in there with Punk, or Cena, or Triple H, or anyone like that, and he's clearly outclassed and unable to hold his own. Don't give me the BS about a heel persona, I understand the concept of a heel quite fine, I just don't think he's a particularly good one. Look beyond the personal ring announcer and the cars, and there's really not much else. At least not for me.
