X, you like Grunge and Alternative rock as well right?

of course. I like every genre, from folk to punk to death metal to eurodance and gangsta rap, good music is good music.

But yeah, huge grunge fan, Nirvana were my favorite band growing up and Cobain has remained an idol to me since my childhood, grunge was one of the first genres of music I ever really got into as a kid. Green River, Mother Love Bone, Mudhoney, Screaming Trees, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Tad, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Silverchair, I could keep going.

Fine and dandy, my musical guru.

Spent last night BBQing and then cleaning up... took FOREVER so I lay in bed until late this morning.

Now just looking for jobs and padding out my CV by typing up an article I am looking to get published...

Very cool, what's the article on? I'm assuming a mythical battle between the Irish and the Gods?

Seriously getting into the ECDUB conversation we're having.

...I'm greatly confused Steven.

More music. One of my all time favorite songs:

In a bit of a punk mood. Shocker, I know.

Raw motherfucking hardcore street punk at it's god damn finest ^^^

Anarcho time..

And now some nice soothing smooth jazz....oh, wait, no, actually it's hardcore from the greatest fucking Boston punk band of all time:

Not to you, dear X. Ferbs and I are having a "Gentleman's disagreement" in CH's thread involving...Heyman and ECW (somehow we brought it into the mix). Real interesting to see his perspective on it, and thought of you the second we started to talk about it.

I got a band you might like to hear then. I'm not sure if you'd like it though. But it's worth a try. It's a Danish band.

Or well they're not really that existent anymore but still.

You are partly right. Not on Irish history (which is boring). Nor is it mythical.

But it was certainly something to do with the Gods and their totalitarian foe, God.

It's on the Roman civil war battle of Frigidus River in 394CE and its religious consequences

Oh yeah? Nice, what's the card?

Briscoes vs. House of Truth

Necro Butcher/Erick Stevens vs. “Skullkrusher” Rasche Brown/Grizzly Redwood

Sara del Rey w/ Shane Hagadorn vs. Amazing Kong

The All-Night Express (Kenny King/Rhett Titus) vs. Jerry Lynn/Delirious with Daizee Haze

Roderick Strong with Truth Martini vs. Austin Aries

Colt Cabana & El Generico vs. The American Wolves

The Kings of Wrestling vs. GenerationMe

Tyler Black vs. Kevin Steen for the ROH World Title.

I'm pumped, and hopefully get to see this smoking hot female ref they had last time.

Lastly, what is your favorite Alice in Chains song?

Nice looks like a good card, poor Steen jobbing in the main event again.

As for my favorite AIC song, man that's a tough one. Possibly "Got Me Wrong"...or perhaps "Down in a Hole". What do you think of the "new" Alice in Chains? It just ain't the fuckin' same without Layne. At all.

I've told that to Thriller. Should be a fun match, but I just can't see Steen winning. I actually fell into hoping Hero would beat him last time here back in April. Definitely looking foward to seeing Aries, Richards, Cabana, and Hero for sure.

Personally I've been splooging over Bleed the Freak for the past week or two, but I'd go with Would? for sure. Definitely not the same though. Some of it is good, but there is not much of Duvall alone like there was with Layne, from what I hear. It is more harmonization or Jerry singing. We all know that it isn't the same without him, so why fight it?

Bitchin'.

WWE need to get their greedy hands back on Claudio. There's no reason he shouldn't be a star there. His tag partner, too. Even though I've always been more luke warm towards him. Everyone agree with me and start writing letters stating the same to their corporate office.

Thought you might be the one that would be more interested in watching this. Stumbled upon it on my recommended.

Didn't know DiBiase worked in Japan, much less Noah. Actually a decent match for DiBiase here

Interesting, thanks Ferb, I was unaware that DiBiase worked in Japan either, but it's not surprising considering the amount of time his father spent over there wrestling in the 80s. Him facing KENTA sounds pretty fuckin' ace, I'll have to watch that match sometime tonight.

And yes Armbar, we all heart Claudio. Except for the WWE apparently. Speaking of Claudio, just got the latest EVOLVE show which he and Hero are on, looking forward to watching that as well. Really dig how they and DGUSA only release one show every 3 months or so, makes it much easier to keep track of everything. ROH could desperately take a note from them and cut the amount of shows they release in half.

You're welcome. There's also a match where he's wrestling alongside Bryan Danielson and someone else against Kenta and 2 others in a 6 man tag team match. Pretty decent stuff, but I wanted to see him perform in a singles match. He does quite a nice drop kick and some nice hold for hold wrestling. He's no Shawn, Bret, Benoit, Angle or Guerrero but he's doing fine.

Random notes for tonight, blog style..

The best part about getting a tooth removed? Vicodin obviously. It wasn't even the pulling the tooth out part that pissed me off, it was the fact that they had to use 3 different kinds of novocaine and administer SIX different shots into my fuckin' mouth just to get me numb. Finally, the end of my tooth problems though, happy fucking day.

Watched an old house show from the Philly Spectrum in '84 earlier today with a match between Iron Mike Sharpe and a very young pre-Brooklyn Brawler Steve Lombardi, which shockingly was actually a pretty damn good little match, like I could not believe my eyes that these two guys were putting on a fun match, it was craziness. Probably the first and last time a Lombardi match will crack the *** barrier. Iron Mike really knew how to work a crowd, underrated heel.

Also watched The Night the Line Was Crossed earlier. Forgot just how overrated the main event for that show is, absolutely abysmal match that somehow got labeled a classic despite being 60 minutes of pure boredom, botches, and half-assed brawling with interference. Such a shit match.

So, just ate like five Vics, about to throw on an old NJPW/WCW co-promotional show from the summer of '96. Wish I could smoke, but I guess I can't. Then again I wasn't supposed to smoke when I had my wisdom teeth out but I did anyways and was fine. DAMNIT! If only I had a vaporizer, that would be ace right about now.

While it's not what it's about. I have to admit Wisdom teeth are probably the most painful pieces of shit to deal with. I'm damn happy I don't have to get mine removed. But my mom got sick for 2 weeks after she had hers removed. And me who just thinks it hurts when they're growing.

Why the hell would they need to administer so many shots to numb your mouth? That damn tough?

Yeah I had a small infection underneath the tooth that had to be pulled which sometimes prevents the novocaine from effectively numbing my teeth and gums. Took 6 shots just to get my teeth and gums sufficiently numb enough because of that damn infection, so I spent half of the day with pretty much my entire left half of my face being numb, including my tongue. You never realize how big your tongue is until it's numb and you're almost choking on it, lol.

Wisdom teeth do indeed suck though, you're lucky as hell you didn't have to have yours removed.

And here comes the hydrocodone....washing over my body.....yum.

Sounds damn painful dude. So now you're just dealing with the after pains, what did they do to the tooth? Replaced it?

I'm not sure whether I can do with the wisdom teeth. I mean I was told I could when I was at the dentist last time because the upper layer of the teeth had grown out, but they're still growing out slowly from time to time. Slow process as a bitch, they've been growing since I was 16!

You didn't know DiBiase worked Noah? He did that right before coming up to the 'E.

lulz, wisdom teeth. Thank god I don't have to get mine removed, but there's one wisdom tooth thats growing slowly, and I haven't grown one at all so far. The other two that grew didn't give me any problem, thank baby Jesus.

EDIT: This song is ace. Shame the whole thing didn't make the final cut.
