I feel for you NorBert. I've honestly had a shady past with females and my lady knows it. I've never once cheated on a girlfriend, but she does know that when we were still in the dating stage of things I was still involved with other girls. It was a problem of mine for a long time, being so non commited. It's done some long term damage because she no longer trusts me 100% and constantly brings up my past. It's something I have to live with now and put up with becuase she's definitely the one. It's different with you though because you've given her no reason for trust issues. It's hard because in this situation it's easy for people to say ''hey man if there's no trust, there's no relationship" but I've been in a similar spot. When you feel like it might be 'the one' it's completely different than other relationships.

I've made peace with it long ago, I'm more than willing to put up with what essentially were my own mistakes to be with my best friend.

How open are you guys with your feelings and such? If you haven't already, just tell her basically what you're saying here. Especially if she's the one that's different, whatever you can do to prove what you need to prove. It's hard, but when there's no one else for you there aren't many other options ha. Man, SO MANY girls who wanted nothing less than to fuck my brains out, and I turned them down for reasons of being an honorable man, and THIS is what I have get.

See thats the thing, and its a huge regret....She was very open how she felt about me, I, on the other hand was VERY VERY introverted about expressing feelings, becuase thats how I am for a while after I meet a girl. I think that is a huge part of how we got to were we are.

I have sent her plenty of texts being far more expressive of how I feel. I of course have one BIG GUN left to bring out, but I dont want to waste saying that to her for the first time over a text message or Email. Of course, if she ends it, then i will be forced to, as I refuse to go through the rest of life having not said it.
