[Official] X Marks the Spot: Xfearbefore Xclusive Thread

I'm looking at that Target Marketing thread...interesting.

I heard that flavored cigarettes are going to be banned in NJ soon.

Thanks for posting X. Murfy and everyone else should post too :).

I made the thread because of something we did in my marketing class the other week. I thought it was pretty interesting and decided to make a thread about it.

My marketing teach is a very knowledgeable guy and I have already learned a lot in his class. If he continues being the way he is then my presence in the cigar lounge will probably increase.

X, do you think it would be too late to make a thread about the bailout the government gave to GM?

Megan Fox is going to be on SNL tonight, X. And Tommy Rich's up for debate in the overrated/underrated series in old school. Discuss.

I'll be watching SNL, definitely. I've loved the show ever since Tina Fey left and Seth Meyers took over head writing, I think it's the funniest it's been in years, and the cast is excellent.

I'll try to find my way into the Tommy Rich thread sometime tonight, if I'm not too drunk.

It's never too late, go ahead. Just know that FTS will be all over that thread like hotcakes.

After thinking about it, I thought the bail-out was a good thing if GM ends up recovering because of a few reason which I will explain in the thread once I make it.

Does FTS think it was good or bad thing? If he thinks it was bad, is it because the government owns the majority shares of GM and because people consider it to be a socialist or communist thing (I'm not really sure which category it would fall in)?

FTS thinks it bad because the government is technically in ownership of GM at the moment, if I remember right. Something about socialism, when we've been a Socialist Capitalist society since the days of FDR.

He also doesn't like the epic amounts of waste the bailouts (both Bush and Obama era) have seen. Money isn't getting spent here, but spent there, money getting lost, money getting spent but with no tags on where it goes.

...I don't remember the other reasons. He has a lot, though. :lmao:

Well then that means I better be ready for a debate with him.

Razor, you should go post in the thread I made and once I have this one ready then you should post in it too.

there's one main reason everytime FTS debates this: milk is cheaper...I've yet to that happening here, but apparently, it's cheaper.

It is! ...I think. I haven't bought milk in months upon months. It's not exactly like I need to buy milk for my dorm room.

He's a bamf when it comes to the economy. I wouldn't try to get into the technicalities as much as the broader topics. Such as, don't argue the intricacies of Wall Street and hedge funds. Argue that keeping thousands of people employed is better than allowing a company to fail.

Razor, you should go post in the thread I made and once I have this one ready then you should post in it too.

I will, promise. Most likely sometime tomorrow or Monday. I have a hellacious homework load this weekend.

The bud I'm smoking has a delicious hint of blueberry. My facial cough device has broken and such.

Where's you at Razor? Didja Razorbacks beat the Crimson Tide today?

I love Con te partirò but aside from that I'm not very familiar with Bocelli's work. Con te partirò is a masterpiece though. The definition of epic.

I just started listening to some of his work and it's fantastic.

Have you heard Time to say goodbye with him and Sarah Brightman?

Fantastic song:

Blueberry? Sounds delicious.

I'm here, doing homework.

And no....we fell to yet another SEC team. :( It wasn't even close. 7-35. We've fallen apart. It doesn't help any when Mallett, who is supposed to be the highest rated quarterback in the country at the moment, throws incomplete passes that are 5 feet above the receiver's heads.

Oh it is. Combined with a Sam Adams Octoberfest, and I'm watching SNL. I'm feeling rather content and dandy. Megan Fox looks like Marilyn Monroe with this blonde wig on...

That's tough.

Oh well. Atleast you can see your team on TV, I haven't seen a single damn BC game this entire year. Sucks big time, we've got a shot in the ACC after beating Wake Forest earlier. We've got a tough schedule coming up though, I don't have any large expectations out of us this season. If we couldn't win the ACC with Matt Ryan, we likely won't now. Atleast I've still got the Sox in the playoffs, the Pats, and soon enough the Celtics.
