[Official] X Marks the Spot: Xfearbefore Xclusive Thread

Ha, me too man. Right now I've probably got like 20 movies, a few episodes of Star Trek: TNG, some Office episodes, and a bunch of other random shows.

Yeah. Oh damn it Sean Williams Scott is in this movie.

...I always kind of liked Stifler. Still do. He was pretty funny in Role Models. I've always liked the dude.

I have mostly caught up on all the stuff I DVRed while I was away. Only one more episode of 24 to go. Although all episodes of Star Trek TOS Remastered are still to be viewed...

Honestly I'm considering just taking 24 off of my DVR schedule at this point, the show is fucking awful at this point for the most part and I could save some time and space on my DVR.

I heard the remastering was fucking AWESOME for TOS. Is this true?

I also think that 24 is nowhere near the force it used to be but Day 8 has started off solidly and some of the more ridiculous plot points such as finding the "villain" so quickly have been addressed.

I will always give Jack Bauer another chance

As well as the adding in of proper backdrops in space and orbited planets, the remastering demonstrates the amount of colour that was used on set. I definitely recommend a reviewing on a quality television

Just finished Tajiri vs. Crazy.

DAMN.

Yeah that was a good match. The great thing about later ECW was that they had a pretty fuckin' awesome juniors division with guys like Tajiri, Super Crazy, Juventud, Nova, Little Guido, they did some damn good stuff. Rating?

Fuck yes, I just read man that Inspectah Deck is coming out with a new album in late March.

Really? Fuck yeah, awesome news. The one album I can't fucking wait for though is the new Reflection Eternal one. Their REUnion mixtape was awesome, got me really pumped up for their new album.

Right now I'm drinking coffee and watching Danielson vs. Morishima from Manhattan Mayhem II. Great match.

Not directed at me, but ECW had some fucking awesome cruiserweights. Watching those old ECW matches featuring Super Crazy, Tajiri, and even older yet, the Mysterio/Psicosis matches alongside what they used to do in WCW really brings a tear to my eye.

Man Wu is coming back big time once again, not only do we got Inspectah Deck releasing an album, I also read Raekwon, Meth, and Ghostface Killah are teaming up for an album as well.

Was that an ROH DVD? That sounds so damn familiar almost like I have it. I'm not at home to check my ROH collection, but it rings a bell.

Yeah that was the great thing about ECW, alongside all of that garbage wrestling they had some fuckin' amazing workers they'd just let go out there and work and have the freedom to do whatever they wanted.

Awesome news, if it's anything like Cuban Linx II, I'll be a happy man.

Yeah, it was from August 25th 2007 at the Manhattan center in New York, Bryan Danielson vs. Takeshi Morishima for the ROH World title. Was named match of the year by Meltzer actually, but I'd disagree with him on that.

A- actually.

I've never been prouder of you than I am at this moment. Well, this and that awesome review you gave to that ROH show one time.

Oh and now I'm watching Kobashi vs. Mike Awesome from the fall of '99 in AJPW. I love me some Mike Awesome.

As Kobashi is laying some chops on Awesome in the corner, Mike looks right at him and incredibly loudly says "COME ON YOU MOTHERFUCKER". I laughed. Hard. Silly Japanese people not understanding what he's saying.

I feel like there is something significant that I've been posting on page 420.

Technically it's only page 210 for me but I got 20 posts per page.

Yeah I've never changed my posts per page options, just stuck with the original 10 posts per page. I like it that way.

And KB, run. Run for your god damn life. Abrams' UWF is the worst fucking wrestling promotion to ever exist.

For some reason, X's thead has simply become a status page for the members. Don't get me wrong, it's all because we need his approval though.

I reviewed an episode of it already. There are only 24 of them on ESPN Classic and they're half an hour each. Can't be that bad.

And to answer your thing about the AWA, the reason it's only airing the last like 5 years is they aired on ESPN back then. ESPN has the rights to it so why not air it?

I already knew that KB. In fact I'm pretty sure I told you that after you reviewed the first episode.

Just finished Tajiri vs. Crazy.

DAMN.

The Mexican Death Match in February 2000 at the ECW Arena between Super Crazy and Tajiri, is such a great match. These two (along with Mike Awesome) were always the best part of the TNN run (the worst being anytime Justin Credible was on air), especially when wrestling one another. The Death Match, however, has to be one of my favorite ECW matches ever; you'll be hard-pressed to find "hardcore" matches using only tables and some chairs (and a wrench) that epitomizes extreme wrestling more than the Tajiri vs. Crazy Mexican Death Match. Throughout their feud's history, it was all about athleticism; this match was just pure violence, and unlike any other.
