[Official] X Marks the Spot: Xfearbefore Xclusive Thread

That's such bullshit it's actually making me laugh. You know anything about the Bridge Wars?

I love Southern rap too FTS, but to say it's better than East Coast...it's just wrong. Simply wrong. Just my opinion though. When you start saying bullshit like Lil fuckin Keke is better than KRS-One though, thats when I have to laugh.

Honestly, KRS is the biggest beneficiary of being from New York and getting an overblown rep. I know about the Bridge Wars. I've seen Beef. I still think KRS is terrible.

Right. This argument is pointless. You have your opinion, and I have mine. The only thing is that 99.9% of the hip hop listening world would disagree with you. Take that as you will. KRS is a fuckin' legend, and one of the Kings of Hip-Hop, and everyone knows that. Well, except you I guess.

Oh, and East Coast Beats > Southern Beats

/End of convo.

So in other news, what's crackin' everyone? Gotta love this thread, we just got into a giant random fucking argument about rap for no reason, hilarious.

FTS, shall we make peace through the pipe?

Oh chea.

Peace Pipe it is.

I got more Astroqueen.

There might be enough to go around.
All I'm saying is that New York rap gets a lot more credit than it deserves. But every music scene is regional. If this had been about rock music we'd be fist fighting through the internet as soon as I said Simple Man is the best Rock N Roll Song of all time.

Haha well you're right there FTS. I'd probably actually argue for the West Coast when it comes to rock. Unless we're talking punk, in which case DC destroys all and it's not even close.

JMT, I'm ashamed of you. There I went and made an MMA thread, and you haven't checked it out yet. :disappointed:

Okay, nevermind, I'm an idiot and that thread already existed. Thanks for merging brah.

JMT...really....Mystical better than Z-Ro? Really? And I have no idea what a Nussie is, so I won't comment. Everything else, fine, it's an opinion, and one I find offensive, but it's yours and I'll respect that.

Mystikal's a bit of a joke today because of the rape charge, but before then... he was the shit. Mind of Mystikal, Unpredictable, Ghetto Fabulous, Let's Get Ready, and Tarantula are all classic albums where I'm from. Plus, he was real as fuck. Not that I condom murder over a rap track being made about someone or anything like that, but the fact remains... Yellow Boy, who Cash Money was planning on making a huge star out of, made a diss track on Mystikal (a great one, I might add), and ended up dead just a little while later.

As far as Nussie... he was quickly becoming the king of Baton Rouge before his murder in February. Here's just a taste of his shit.

You like that gangsta shit, well there you go. And that's nowhere near his best stuff. Youtube is limited on his stuff.

Dude, you could have gotten an infraction for making a duplicate topic. :lmao:

I merged your thread with the one Marquis made a couple of weeks ago about the fight, lol. My response is in there.

I remember Mystikal from the beginning. I Smell Smoke is my favorite song of his, but IMO, he doesn't touch Z-ro.

I'm a bit older than you, so I remember when Ice Cream Man was crazy hot in the hood. I bought The Diary the day it came out. I remember the old school, and jsut like wrestling, I will always remember more fondly than I should.

The song Crossroads is what made me a fan of rap, and that was the same time Mr. Ice Cream Man was released. So, yeah... I've been following the Louisiana rap scene for quite sometime myself and know more about it than any other form of music there is.

Houston, I admit I didn't get into that scene until Lil Flip's The Leprechaun came out.

Shit I've been listening to hip hop for damn near 14 years now. I started listening to it when I was 8, and I turn 22 on Friday, so I'm a young OG in the game considering most motherfuckers my age are into the Lil Wayne and lollipop rapper bullshit.

I got into Houston early with the Geto Boys, and then all through high school, we had people bringing in the gray Screw tapes for locker room time.

The Leprechaun was a bad ass album, unfortunately I didn't hear it until after I got into Lil Flip because of his You Gotta Feel Me album. Granted it was more mainstream, but fuck, the song Game Over was and still is such a bad ass song.

And of course, I present to you, the song that officially got me into Bone Thugs, 4 years before I started smoking weed incidentally.

Grunge music = instant mood killer. From happy to sad in 2.3 seconds.

Damn the 90s. Damn them to Hell. My iPod is a cunt as well.

How's everyone doing tonight?

Watching ROH... recorded it earlier, just because everyone keeps talking about it so I figured I'd give it a watch.

So far... I don't get it.

The HDNet TV show is pretty lame. Go to YouTube and look up stuff like the CM Punk-Samoa Joe matches. There's a shit ton of AMAZING matches from ROH.

A little buzzed

That makes two of us brotha.

What you drinking?
I drank about half a glass of tequila

fucking itunes shuffle playing all this sad songs

I'm drinkin' a bit of whiskey now, had a few shots of Jaeger earlier and a couple of brews. Feelin' real good.

My iPod shuffle is also being a fucking dick, playing me like The Smiths and Placebo and shit. I'm contemplating watching one of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies.

Hows the MILF-situation treatin' ya brother?

Did I mention xfear is no longer on the singles market?

And yes, BLTs are yum.
