[Official] WWE Releases *** KEEP IT ALL IN HERE***

Al Snow is more a trainer anyway and appart from Terkay they dont use any of the released talent much but there are others that should get fired for example:
Scotty II Hotty - His name comes up every time theres cuts simply because ever since rikishi and grand master sexay left the company he hasn't really bin used and thats been a very long time

Steven Richards - Wasted and pointless keeping him on he is a good wrestler and in my opinion superb on the mike but if there not going to ever use him why should he be there. Maybe TNA or someone will use him properly

Val Venis - Another that never seems to go he is only used as a jobber or on Heat. They won't push someone like him now because they want to push youngsters too soon

Mark Henry - Yes i know everyone says how useless he is but i truthfully think that with some of the gimmicks going around in WWE what they get him doing isn't all that bad the only problem is he is injured alot more than he's fit so maybe it's time to cut the fat !

Looks like there could well be more soon i'm expecting these guys

good, cut em, cut a lot, i dont like all the development territories, they are useless, 1 10th of the champs on ovw and dsw dont make it anyway. make heat and ecw your deve territories, and ffs, take risks. making cm punk lose cleanly is one of the dumber moves recently, he is good, he is very good and just cause hes considered 'heymans guy' doesnt mean he is bad, pull the finger out creative team

that was my first ever message on this site btw, and reading everyones comments, they are reasoned and thought out, unlike the recent gimmicks and storylines.

Here's my opinion's on the recent releases:

The Gymini,The Basham Brothers & Tony Mamaluke:

The Gymini were never really given a chance, much like The Dick's they were here one minute and gone the next. Although I think there was a place for both team's on the roster. Smackdown only has three team's and those two would have contributed greatley. Mamaluke is really talented. Having The F.B.I on Smackdown would have been great. At least he can go back to R.O.H. now.

Sylvester Terkay:

I thought he was really bland. The fact that he was moved to ECW after only been on Smackdown for a few month's prove's they had nothing for him. I dont see the point in shoot fighter gimmick's anyway. Sure Angle and Goldberg got over with them but I think that had more to do with intensity. Most people realise that wrestling is predetermined.

Al Snow, Jazz, Rodney Mack, Gangrel & C.W. Anderson:

Neither were doing anything as on screen performer's so I dont see any as a real loss. Snow will probably continue as a trainer. And the rest will either go into the indy's of fade into oblivion.

Rumoured Releases:

Tatanka & Mike Knox:

I would'nt be surprised by either. I thought the wreiting was on the wall for Know when he was completley jobbed out at Survivor Series. Tatanka was'nt over 12 year's ago and he is'nt now. The only reason to keep him is to put over younger superstars.

The only release that shocked me when i heard was Slyvester Terkay.

When on SD! he was the main focus out of him and Burke but when the two moved to ECW Burke was given more of a role to play, looks like Burke will be getting a slight push in the singles division

Now that Tony Mamaluke has gone Little Guido Maritato should be given the Nunzio gimmick and sent to SD! to wrestle in the Cruiser div cos theres nothing for him in ECW now.

I agree. There's nothing for Guido on ECW except for him being a ragdoll for others to beat on. He could be used on SmackDown! to help add more dimension to the lacking Cruiserweight Division.

Good Riddance to them all. I hate to see people lose there jobs, but they werent being used. Maybe Jazz can go to TNA since they are trying to add more women. Shit Tna needs to take after WWE and do there own roster cuts. ed

Tatanka's release is official now, so expect Mike Knox to go out next. Apparently, the rumor was true.

Not too shocked about Tatanka, since they were just using him as a jobber for the most part. He wasn't incredibly over with the crowd, and his Marilyn Manson heel turn did nothing for him. I figured it was only a matter of time for his release.

Sylvain should be next, unless the wwe are doing the la resistance.
teachers pets, unless mcool is coming back soon.
Val Venis, does f*** all.
not viscera - they need him once a year for every royal rumble, just so j.r can say, he has a possibility of winning.
and, well, whens the last time we say eugene actually do something. a ****** gimmick is ok, a heel ****** gimmick is just a waste of everyones time.

turn ecw and heat into the developmental territories, that way people outside of america (like me in australia) can see what possible tallent is coming through the ranks. it gives new wrestlers exposure on accreditted shows like heat and ecw anyway.

Really doesn't affect me much.
Kind of sucks that they let Gangrel go to me because he was one of my favorites (yeah, I like the odd ones, which is why Goldust is my icon.)
I'm actually glad they let Turkey Man Bear go.
He was a waste of space, and took most of it up.
It can only get better from here on out since they've done probably most of their releasing.

I clearly stated that earlier. Thanks for repeating me exactly.

true, they could release like 10 or so wrestlers, guys like Simon Diamond, Shark Boy, Norman Smiley, Jonny Devine, David Young, A-1, and VKM for sure

The thing I fine most amussing about all the releases from WWE was that out of all the guys released "The Not-So-Great" Khali was not one of them,(sigh) he is still employed by WWE:confused:

Add Bill DeMott to the list.

I really think they missed the boat with him. While he should'nt have been in WWE main event's I certainly think there was a place for him in the mid card.

The releases do a couple of different things.
1)Free's up a boat load of $$$$. 16 people this week, plus Trish, plus Lita, plus Show, plus Angle. Thats alot of free $$$. Hmmm something might be brewing there. Pride is allegedly for sale, Jericho is on a list of names to be wanted for WM, I wouldnt doubt that theres a method to the madness.

2)"Damned if you, damned if you dont". Let me explain that. If you look at what's developing on all 3 shows, its the start of new talent in most cases. On Raw yeah you have DX, RKO, Flair, but you're also starting to get Kenny, Cryme Tyme, Rodimer when he debuts, as well as semi-seasoned guys like Carlito, Masters, Nitro, and WGTT. On SD its MVP, Kennedy, Helms, London/Kendrick ect ect. With less uslesss talent on the roster it lets you use more of the young talent you have to see what it can do. And so far it looks good. Heck these guys can go to TNA and all be promised title runs. (sarcasam). This is a better set of releases this time than back in 05 as far as the WWE goes. Theres not much for TNA to take out of this batch.

I'm soooo happy they released turkay, when he was on smackdown he sucked so much, Im not at all surprised by any of these releases and i hope wwe's gonna keep up cleaning the house. They need to release guys like funaki, the miz!!!, Eugene, The highlanders(use them or release them but decide), Snitsky, Super Crazy(same as highlanders or send him back on smackdown), Teachers pet, jamie noble, psicosis and mark henry. Thats my opinion, there are lots of talented wrestlers they dont even use. they should release them so they can go wrestle somewhere else and they could be bigger stars.

1) Mark Henry is good for story lines leave him!
2) Eugene should be reunited with Rob Conway (and renamed Nick Dinsmore) and reunite there OVW Tag Team Glory and boost Tag Team Division
3) The Miz should take over JBL on commentary.. and JBL & Simmons should remake APA seems as all these old tagies are being made back up (DX, WGTT, Kane & Taker) but maybe to be put on SDown! for a good rivalry between Londrick and APA! that'd be good
4) Psicosis is already gone, and wrestling in AAA in Mexico i think...
5) Super Crazy is needed to be used more...Cruiserweight Division! and they need to boost that up big time.
6) If RVD leaves, I think ECW will fold and they should use CM Punk, Lashley, Monty Brown, Test, Hardcore Holly etc in Smackdown with names like Batista, Benoit, Undertaker, Mr Kennedy... could make some great story lines... Brown Vs Batista!

I hope Vince makes good choices with what he does..Im sure he will

you never know who is going to go next but from what it looks like they have made a lot of room for salary and I wonder what and who they are making room for. I really hope that T.J Wilson, Harry Smith and Nadie Neidhart aren't the next to go. I also help that the newly signed Eddie Colon (Carlito's brother) doesn't get released either. I have seen Eddie Colon in action and he is better than Carlito, for those of you who don't like Carlito, Eddie is something special. "The New Hart Foundation" can be a great team I just hope that they aren't released. I hope that the WWE can sign Jack Evans and Teddy Hart away from Wrestling Society X. Super Crazy shouldn't be released even though he hasn't been utilized, he is another great talent. Viscera can go along with Conway unless you keep him for La Ressistance or teaming with a Nick Dinsmore. There is a lot of talented promissing talent in the WWE that hasn't been used and probably never will. Unfortunately as an avid long time WWE fan I hate to see them go but they are probably going to be used better in a different company. I just wish the people in charge in WWE would see these talented athletes and give them a promissing opportunity.

I think that Viscera should be shit canned and they can make room for better people. As horrible of a wrestler as Mark Henry is, they have a sure money making feud with him and Batista because of their history. Unless they do something with him to change his gimmick they should fire Eugene too.

Jazz (ECW, married to Rodney Mack)
Rodney Mack (ECW, married to Jazz)
Tony Mamaluke (ECW, FBI)
Doug Basham (ECW, Paul Heyman's security)
Danny Basham (ECW, Paul Heyman's security)
Al Snow - It looks like he will remain with WWE as a trainer in OVW.
Gymini (SmackDown!, Mike & Todd Shane)
David Heath (Gangrel)

SmackDown! writer Andrew Goldstein, second in command to Michael Hayes, has been fired as well. This happened last week, not today. Goldstein was informed of his termination by WWE Human Resources, instead of by someone like Stephanie McMahon. On SmackDown, unlike on RAW and ECW, Michael Hayes dictates what he wants on the show, and then Goldstein would take all of that and put it together in a format that can be televised.

Out of all the cuts, the ones I find to be the dumbest were CW Anderson, Tatanka, Jazz, and The Bashams. CW could've been used to greater effect upon returning from his injury (especially in a rejuvenated Four Horseman angle which he is custom tailored for) and is one of the sharpest workers on ECW. Tatanka needed some actual character development rather than saddling him with nearly the same personality he had in 1992. The WWE women's wrestlers suck with the exception of Victoria...who is decent, so Jazz would've at least helped to crisp up the matches a small percent of the time. The WWE tag scene is also sucking and a proper push and packaging for The Bashams would be an awesome move because they can both work and sell very well.
