Official Unoffical Wrestlezone Tag Team Tournament 2 Discussion Thread

Shocky I would like The Powers Of Pain & The Twin Towers if that is possible.

Same I would like a really tasteless sig with The Twin Towers (buildings). In tower one I'd like The Powers Of Pain. Tower two Boss Man & Akeem. No planes, I'd like a big fly, looking like it's going into The Warlords mouth.

I'm a little surprised that Shockey didn't lock them in early. But I think it may have been because Davey Boy has been in so many popular tandems, that he wanted to see who was the most popular amongst the posters first.

That being said, you gotta pick the Bulldogs, hands down on the best all-around tag teams ever.

Sorry but no as great as Owen and Bulldog were BB's were better. Maybe the Bulldogs should get in and Owen could get in with Yokozuna they were a great team too.

Not really. The Bulldogs were feuding with better teams than Bulldog & Owen, and they were from an era that most look back on fondly. Owen & Bulldog were feuding with teams that were nowhere near as talented as the Hart Foundation & Demolition, in an era that many people forgot about.

So if the bulldogs were feuding with better talent than shouldn't they be deemed higher bc of the fact that they were more successful against better competiton. While Owen/ Bulldog had crap to work with I understand that point. I always thought Owen/Yokozuna were better than Owen/Bulldog anyway.

I have to disagree with Hogan and Savage. Look back at their time as a "team". It's almost non existent. They formed just before Summerslam 88 as Hogan took a long leave of absence, had the main event at SS, then were on the same team at Survivor Series, and then broke up after a match on Feb 3. 1989. That's less that 6 months and 2 matches together on tv/ppv? Even if you factor in WCW, they were only really together in a handfull of matches, mainly the Uncensored Doomsday Cage match. This was always more of an alliance than a tag team. I just don't think it warrants a spot in this.

What a horrendous match. I wish I had that half hour of my life back.

It's professionalk wrestling, name one successful wrestler who has never once showboated, it's part of the show, and draws reaction

and they kinda look like homosexuals

No, not really, don't see the homosexual thing at all, are you sure you aren't thinking of Brian Kendrick?

they point to their hand alot and

You know they may be pointing to their hand alot cause it's similer to the shape of the state of Michigan, you know where the Motor City is located

alex shelley just sounds girly.

Would you prefer he go by his real name, Patrick Martin?

I know they point to their hand bc of michigan i actually quite like the guns. You can't tell me as a fan of theirs they don;t even come off as a little homosexual to u and yes kendrick looks like a homo too.Yes showboating is in wrestling but after every move...come on its ridiculous i think maybe they should be in depending on whos stilll been snubbed. I'll give u this theyre very cohesive.

How do u become a mod anyway?
You get asked, and you accept. Then you are a mod.

You, uh, forgot to mention the whole application process.

To become a mod, you have to fill out an application, and send in a resume type thing. Basically, on the application, it'll ask you for things like why you want to be a mod, what are your views on this or that, what would you suggest that you would do different, etc. On the resume, you just kind of go more in-depth, talk about any previous modding experience, give links to forums you've modded, etc.

The staff reviews all apps and resumes, does some checking with other forums, and then if they like you, they you get modded.

You can ask IrishCanadian25 for the application form. I think he took over after Jonny stepped down. Just send him a PM saying that you need a mod application form.

Maybe somebody should have picked them. Owen & Bulldog > British Bulldogs.
Owen & Yokozuna + British Bulldogs > Owen & Bulldog

They were still a tag team, still main-evented big PPVs, had a team name, wore matching attires, and are two of the most popular wrestlers of all time.

They deserve in more than half the teams that'll actually be in.

Then if the Mega Powers get in, so should Rock and Sock Connection, Taker and Rock, Mankind and Kane or Austin and Taker.
