The problem is that the WWE is terrible when it comes to improvising. I mean they should be used to it due to the high number of injuries. But almost everytime they have to think on their feat they just throw something together and it is a bomb. That is why I figure it will be Bigg Daddy V or Snitsky. I honestly dont give them credit to figure out the simple Kennedy solution that most everyone on this board has. I see Kennedy getting his feud with HHH like planned but it wont be at Wrestlemania but he will probaly job out to him at Survior Series or Royal Rumble and it will be some combo of HHH, Cena and Orton at WM. Kennedy will probaly end up in the MITB match again or for the IC title. I think they should realize that neither the fans nor congress care one whit about any sort fo punishment that revolves around being pushed down the ladder. In baseball they dont tell them to pull the suspended batter from 3rd in order to 7th after he is suspended. The suspension and fine is the punishemnt and then that should be all at least on the first offense.
Snitsky is the last thing they need for a main eventer he is worse than even Kahli and Big Daddy V. Ooh thats a scary thought Kahli hold sonto the Smackdown title, V wins ECW and Snitsky takes the Raw title. All of a sudden Hornswogle become one of the most credible champs out there.

That makes no sense since we all know his dad is "Cowboy" Bob Orton. I really have no idea who it is anymore since there have been multiple reports on who it could be. You have to admit though, it does have people talking and seemingly enough, watching RAW again.

There is no realy way to continue the storyline with him...hes just gonig to bug mcman the whole time. Hornswoggle is the Cruiserweight champion already. If it were anybody else WWE could have had Vince bring them into the title picture. This is going to wind up being another missed oppertunity for WWE. So now where does the storyline go? Does it shift over to Smackdown, or are we going to see Hornswoggle on Raw now? Unless Vince disowns him or something or fires him and ends the cruiserweight division, I really honestly can not even phathom to think where WWE is going to try to take this...

I love how J.R. played it up that is was going to be a hallmark moment, and it would be shown on WWE 24/7 for generations to come. Right there i thought to myself it either has to be Goldberg, Jericho, Rock. Someone, anyone but Hornswoggle, was that suppose to be funny? I don't see the point of this and it will go nowhere. I've been sick all day and i stayed up to watch Raw at the thought that this could actually be something good only to be let down again

I wanna go on record for saying this is funny, yet will ultimately do NOTHING as far as ratings go for W.W.E. At least the Triple H./McMahon incest angle would've drew huge ratings.. all this is going to do is draw a laugh or 3 from more (time wasting) backstage segments.

In a little over a month, if they do decide to go with Triple H. messing with the results & it turns out Kennedy will be the "son," it'll raise their ratings. For anyone to listen to the audience in regard to Mr. Kennedy.. everyone wants it to be him now. Everyone sees it as being a huge, good, thing for it to be Kennedy.. so just do it.

There is only one place they could take this. HHH Rigged the Test because we know he's a Prankster and its learned when Kennedy comes back that he is Vince's Son.

You know funny thing I was just watching TV (not the WWE ) and tehy used teh word hornswoggle and I remebred its orginal meaning. To hornswoggle someone is to decive, trick or embarass someone. not that i give teh WWE enough credit to have actually got this all worked out but I still see it ending only one way and that is revolving around HHH. He will have either screwed with the results and it is Kennedy or will reveal that the whole thing has been one big joke on Vince and he never had a bastard son. either way it reignites the HHH/Vince fued and either gives him someone to work with ala a pissed off Kennedy who really thought he was a Mcmahon or we will see a broing Vinni HHH fued with Snitsky as the enforcer.

I have even more reason to believe my former theory:

Triple H has made the whole thing a sham. There never was an illegitimate son. This is a couple of week distraction until Kennedy can come back and say he's equally as pissed as Vince because he would've wanted to be a McMahon. Vince will say that he needs to prove himself and then they will start the Kennedy/HHH feud. Rather than it being "son vs son-in-law" it'll be "son-in-law vs surrogate son". They keep the same angle, give the same guy his push, and build the feud up a little more than just having HHH randomly start feuding with the guy. That's why Hornswaggle was chosen, because its the best person that Triple H would've picked to play a joke on McMahon, and that's why Triple H was last in the ring, laughing at Vince.

Though a lot of people are going to disagree with me on it, I'm glad it will work out this way. I wanted Kennedy to get the push but I didn't want him to be under the character of another McMahon.

This is simply barbaric, where can the WWE go with this story line? He is the cruiserweight champ on smackdown. They build this up for 5 weeks, count them 5 weeks and this is what we get? I got to say ha. I guess this story line will continue on Smackdown? I dont know this was like what most people said a missed opportunity. Unless this stays on raw, it could make sense so now they can have a real cw champion, not someone that makes a mockery of the division. I just hope triple h rigged the dna tests or what ever because this story line at this point in time is simply pathetic, but creative is going to have a great time with this. Unless it was all a joke on HHH's part. the incest story line could have been interesting, but i hope they can go some where with this. Fun times ahead for either raw or smackdown :

I actually am inclined to agree, there really is no end to the amount of fun the writing staff can have with this scenario especially when you throw HHH in the mix aswell. Me thinks many fun and humorous weeks are ahead of us on wwe

HHH reaction kinda makes me think its a joke he is playing on vince...once the 30-day suspension is over i'm thinking Mr. Kennedy will be the son...remember, the original plans were to have the son be revealed sometime in mid october....Its a prank by HHH.

OK so there is more to the anlgle, with possibilities of HHH doing something to the test. That doesnt change the fact that this was a total waste of time. This angle in general is stupid and so was the vince death angle. Hornswoggle is a complete waist of wwe television and the angles are just getting ridiculous.
The whole point is to put Kennedy over(even though he is already over with the crowd). Kennedy could win the title at any ppv and it wouldnt really be considered an upset. He doesn't need to be associated with McMahon, his character is already pretty damn good.

I think Hornswoggle was a good choice considering the circumstances. At this point comedy is the only way to go. This was an elaborate storyline for Kennedy designed to incorporate the entire McMahon family. As some people have already mentioned, this very well may play out to be a prank and Kennedy could still be revealed as the true son some time in the future.

Ok, I don't know about anyone else, but I found the outcome to the 'bastard son' storyline to be completely disappointing. Hornswoggle!?!?!?!?!? Where does that go from here? The WWE can't stick Hornswoggle in a feud with someone like Kennedy, Triple H, or even Shane McMahon. He is completely useless, and the fact that he was chosen to play this part is almost saddening. Has WWE sunk so low that they must place 2' midgets into
big-name storylines?

When this storyline was first in the developing stages, I thought that WWE could really go somewhere with this one. I knew in my heart that the company had a chance to bring back some credibility to the whole business of professional wrestling. Then, they hype up the storyline more and more via commercials, and the official WWE website. I just KNEW this would be a big named guy, thinking someone like Shawn Michaels, Kane, or even a returning Y2J!

To turn on the television and wait for two hours, only to have the 'bastard' be revealed as Hornswoggle crushed me. WWE let me, and its other millions of fans down in my opinion. The one and possibly only shot at an awesome storyline has been shot. The only thing this storyline could possibly add to the roster, and to the fans weekly viewing, would be the comedy. Laughs and jokes only get you so far, though. Fans need a good, solid storyline to fall back on, a serious match or two to view, not a midget in a green outfit running around humping Vince's leg for the next three months!

Maybe I am wrong, and gosh I hope I am. Maybe the WWE Creative Team CAN actually take this storyline somewhere, though I don't see where it could go that would do anything productive. Anyway, I hold onto some faint hope that the WWE knows what they are doing. Maybe you guys have some ideas for the storylines next step, so I want to hear them. You can agree with or dispute the fact that Hornswoggle is the Chairmans' son if you want to, and I encourage it!

I pray they take it to a Rigged DNA test angle..... also on Wwe.com they had a video session of kennedy sayin how he dont lie and all this someone is taking my spot stuff. i hope it lead to HHH/kennedy fued. At first i was like "u gotta be kidding me" but as i can see HHH hiring the lawyer, making the Test up and starting a fued with kennedy. or even better forming a faction with him due to Mcmahon not believing kennedy last week...

Hornswoggle will only be the son until mid-October when Kennedy returns. The illegitimate son storyline is a long term angle. The effects of it could literally be felt for decades. There's no rush to reveal Kennedy as the son. He made a mistake and he's doing his time, without pay. If anything, getting Kennedy off camera for a month helps the storyline. Everyone knew Kennedy was set to be the son, but now people aren't sure. And with Kennedy absent, fans might forget about him. When Kennedy is revealed as the son there will be an element of surprise. And let's not underestimate the importance of surprise in pro wrestling.

If we recall, Triple H also made a major mistake early in his career. In 96' he broke kayfabe and celebrated with Hall, Nash, and Michaels in Madison Square Garden. That was a cardinal sin in the industry, and as a result he had to feud with the likes of Duke the Dumpster and Henry O. Godwin for a year. But McMahon gave him a second chance. Kennedy will get a second chance. The stakes are too high to mess up on this mystery son storyline.

Kennedy is young. He made a mistake and he'll learn from it. Kennedy as the son is good for business. And in the end, that's what it's all about.
