I've never liked this anonymous GM thing. It's ridiculous. I understand it was done to "protect" the GM from Nexus. But it was stupid. It always has been. It's time has come and gone with the Nexus.

The question is where does the WWE go from here. Personally, I'd love to have Mr. McMahon rise from the grave. Bring back the most vile and hated GM in the history of wrestling. We all loved to hate him. JBL would be an okay choice, but he's been out of the company and is kind of irrelevant, IMO, at this point. Besides, I don't think he would give up Wall Street. I'm just so used to having a heel as RAW GM, that I don't think a face could really work. They've tried it in the past and it just never really worked.

Maybe Ted DiBiase Sr needs a job?

This storyline has great potential. It can get future talent over. This is how I would book it to get someone over.

Reveal Michael Cole as the GM. He already has massive heat, so this would give him even more heat. I would have Daniel Bryan feud with Cole and Bryan can threaten Michael Cole and tell him to stop abusing his powers yadayadayada.

Build this feud up for a year. Michael Cole sends mid-card superstars to fight Daniel Bryan every week. Daniel Bryan overcomes every one of them. Daniel Bryan wins the U.S Championship, but Michael Cole vacants it!

Every week, Michael Cole is guarded by security, until finally, Vince McMahon gets a new GM, Shane McMahon. Michael Cole is furious and he loses his security too. He is just an average announcer now. Daniel Bryan attacks him, throws in a few punches, and tries to lock in the LaBell lock, but DREW MCINTYRE comes out to save him. That was the week before the Royal Rumble.

Now, Royal Rumble starts. Daniel Bryan eliminates Drew McIntyre, but Michael Cole distracts Daniel Bryan after that, causing Drew McIntyre to eliminate him back. They brawl outside the ring with Daniel Bryan destroying McIntyre. Michael Cole manages to run away this time.

Each week until WM, Drew McIntyre dominates Bryan, hits him with a steel chair, and does his finisher on the announcer table.

At WM, it is Daniel Bryan vs Drew McIntyre and Michael Cole. Daniel Bryan comes out on top of this match and beats the shit out of Michael Cole.

This will be the feud that gets Bryan into the main-event scene.

Im not the only one here that feel's that the mystery GM should of been announced month's and month's ago. It's just getting really stupid and annoying now at this stage, come just announce the GM already I don't care if it's Edge which would be cool or if it's HHH or even Stephainie Mc Mahon, just get it over with it's pissing me off so much this GM crap having to listen that Troll every week saying I have just received a email from the GM. Im sorry for moaning like this it's just pissing me off this GM crap, I have a feeling the creative team & Vince don't even no who the GM is already, I wouldn't be surpised if it goes on for another year this GM plot plz god it won't.

So when do you think the GM is going to be shown???

not for a long time. Vince really likes this angle and he wants to run it as long as he can. it could be about a year from now. TNA just had they little "network" reveal so it wouldn't be a good time now either. So don't expect to see it revealed now.

Hopefully no later than Summer Slam. I, like you, am getting sick of it personally. I think I may be so sick of it because of the messenger more than the fact that there is a computer GM. With all luck after Lawler gets done with Cole they might start something more interesting involving the Gm and make it where he has to show up in person.

The whole reasoning behind the Gm being anonomous is no longer a major threat to him/her. I think they just have nowhere to go with this that will be a surprise and may be working on a solution. If they just drop it as seen with gimmicks and storylines in the past would really tend to piss me off.

Probably not for awhile since Cole is still garnering a ton of heat simply from reading emails sent by the GM and I'm guessing WWE wants to draw it out for awhile longer. Personally, I wouldn't mind having the GM be announced sooner rather than later. Initially, the GM was made a mystery because the original Nexus was running wild on everyone and the GM wanted to protect himself/herself by concealing his/her identity. I would ASSUME that once the New Nexus breaks up, the GM would come out of hiding. Again, this is merely speculation on my part.

The GM is supposed to be a figurehead. Someone with power who is present every week to add a little bit of unpredictability to the show. Having a GM come down to the ring or out to the ramp to make an announcement is much bigger and better than doing it through a laptop. I started watch wrestling in 2003/2004 and was a big fan of Eric Bischoff. He actually added to a lot of the storylines, especially Evolution. When Evolution were bulling Bischoff around it really made them a proper force to be reckoned with.

Not quite sure what the laptop adds to the show now to be honest, Micheal Cole is already over as a heal and it really isn't adding anything else. In my opinion having a GM who communicates through a laptop actually makes the show weaker.

It seems like they have no intentions on revealing it, in fact i would even go as far to say their trying to just phase it out. It use to be something that was used several times a night. Now some week go by where we don't even get a message from the GM. More then likely they never had intention for it to be revealed as anyone and at some point McMahon will say the person isn't doing a good job and he will fire that darn computer lol. Seriously though i wouldn't hold my breath that they had someone picked for the role when it started or even now when it ran its course.

If they really wanted to reveal who the mystery GM was they would have done it months ago. Now i don'T see them actually revealing who it is because let's face it, it doesn'T really matter anymore. The buzz around who is the mystery GM is gone and fans couldn'T cares less about it. So i think this thing will go on for a little while longer then something going to happen that piss off Mr. McMahon and he fires the mystery GM and we get somebody new in place without never knowing who was behind the mystery GM character.

Most likely at this point I would say never. There really is not point in a reveal now as no one seems to even give a shit one way or another anymore.

Don't expect it anytime soon. A "Mystery GM" has one advantage and VKM knows it. The Mystery GM can help the bad guys that need a push and the good guys that need a push. Leaving it open that we will always wonder who it is. Even though we bad people that read the behind the curtain headlines know that it's just a gimmick that has no one particular in mind. I love this angle. You never know when the GM will chime in or what he has to say. I also think it's funny that when the GM is a heel, Cole reads the e-mails... but when the GM is being a good guy... somehow Todd or King have to read them. That's a new version of Old School Wrasslin and I love it!

Hopefully some time within the next few months because it has been dragged on so long now that it could lose appeal if it hasn't already (it seems to have gone this way now). I am glad that they actually have given an idea more than a few weeks to develop but in this case I don't feel it being kept a secret for such a long time adds to the suspence anymore, maybe I am in the minority though which is fair enough. When the GM is revealed I would like it to be shocking have a big impact and be worth the wait.

Maybe Vince does not know who he is going to give the role to yet? Maybe they are after signing a particular person for the role which is why it's dragging?

I really hope it doesn't end up being Cole himself.

I would like it to be either..

Chris Jericho (realistic)
Hulk Hogan (For shock value aslong as he was not given creative control)

I think Regal would be good in the role but would not have any impact value if it was revealed to be him.

Paul Heyman would fit the role but very unlikely.
Mick Foley was a good commissioner but like Hogan is elsewhere right now.

The fact is, I don't think that Vince or the WWE board really cares that the WWE universe is getting annoyed by Raw being run by a computer. I don't think that the WWE board or creative team even have a plan for who is behind the computer. It's gotten to the point that I don't think any one person would bring any satisfaction to the audience. Besides that, the WWE is in a good place as far as they are concerned. They have one less performer to write for and one less person to pay. After all, a computer doesn't need sick time, vacation, or even a salary.

Now does it suck in terms of story? Of course it does, but what can you do? It's a tool for Cole to gain heat and an untouchable scapegoat for everything else that goes wrong. Even though it may irritate the WWE audience, it works for the WWE higher ups.

I have a feeling that this angle will end when Cole finally gets what's coming to him, which is probably never. The thing that really keeps Cole an ultimately hatable heel is that he rarely receives physical retribution and when he does, it's not nearly enough (certainly not as much as he'd get if he was an actual wrestler.) That's what makes us hate him, he can run his mouth and get away with it. The computer GM is the same thing, except more so. How can a computer receive retribution? It can't. It's untouchable. That's what irritates us as fans. It represents all the other untouchable people who control our lives that we can't do a thing about. It's not the sort of thing that entertains us, perhaps, but it works for the WWE as a company.

So, I'll admit I went off on a bit of a ramble, but to conclude I do not believe that the WWE will ever reveal who is behind the computer. The computer will continue until the end of Raw itself. More than likely it will carry over into Smackdown eventually...

i think they'll make cole and vicki be the GM. it would be great for his heat, like for the rock's party or whatever, how it started off as "the gm demands an apology" and it turned into "apologize to me." i think that it would be a good way to have him maybe team up with vicki G. that's my opinion on it. i think they could do it and it would explain the wm match and all of that stuff.

If they were to build it up via means of a storyline again then there would be a payoff. At this point the only payoff would come from a big name return. So unless they have a big name lined up then they would need to take a few weeks building it up which i cant see happening till after the Cole/Lawler "payoff" (has anyone cared less about a 3rd match???)

Even though alot of people want it to be revealed who the gm is Vince hasn't decided yet who it is and he likes it right now. As far as it being Edge or Jericho that won't work after all edge destroyed the computer after some of its decisions. As welll as making decisions against Jericho a few times while he was in the ring. If its going to be a current star it would be best to be Triple H. However Someone like a Arn Anderson, "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase or IRS would be a good storyline.

Oh contrare...........GREAT SEGMENT. Annoying, but in a good way. I see it as an ambiguous person with an ambiguous agenda. Neither heel nor face.

Love the "flavor".

I say, keep it goin' baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Mystery GM will be revealed when ever Vince is ready to cash in. Right now the angle is not hurting anything, it's just there. The best part is that it is not hurting ratings and it's financially beneficial since Vince does not have to cut a paycheck for a 5 star worker who will fill the position. I'm not gonna lie, they probably have kicked some names around, but I believe they don't have anybody ready to fill the position. Vince will wait until it's the biggest person possible at the right time.

So who would you like to see given the role?

As unrealistic as it may seem doesn't matter..who would you want to see as the GM? (they have to be alive of course as I am asking for sombody who could actually do it and make a huge impact which is worth waiting for)

Macho Man Randy Savage? Jericho? Brett Hart? Hogan? Anderson? Edge? Flair? Shane McMahon?

I think Arn Anderson would work and also be very realistic and have some impact.

Not sure if Vince would go for an old timer nomatter how big the name is seeing as his target audience would probably not batter an eyelid. Who Knows.

I don't think the anonymous GM will ever be announced or was ever planned to be. Was thrown in for the Nexus (Which, if my memory serves me right, is why the GM is anonymous to begin with; since Nexus was laying everyone out and whatnot) and Cole got a lot of heat (for some reason?) from reading the e-mails.

More likely than not, the computer beeping will go away when the Cole-Lawler feud ends (which should've been about a month and a half ago, if it should've started in the first place.)

Never. Really, I doubt creative has any idea who they would actually introduce as the GM. And at this point, I don't think people even care about the identity of the GM. Most fans simply want the annonymous GM concept to go away. Really, what kind of storyline could they possibly have that would make any sense? It's not like the GM repeatedly screws over one of the top faces, ao you can't have it be someone with a grudge against Cena. They could have actually made the storyline mean something right around the time the original Nexus was at its most powerful, but they completely screwed up that angle. Now, people really don't care. Much like the entire product.

I would like to see the GM revealed very soon but with a very slight twist. The one person who I believe can make a huge impact would be the Undertaker. He's been in and out and could easily say that he's been responding from home and watching via satellite. Being that he is almost done with wrestling, he could easily play the role until a permanent manager is available. He doesn't care if you like the choices he makes but you have to listen cause it's his yard.

yes im bored off it now and its about time and to be honest a good gm is always a heel - i think we might find there are 2 mystery gms - watch this space

Part of me doesnt even care, I am extremly tired of this Raw GM crap. It could be Hacksaw Jim Duggan for all I care, just end it and let us go back to the days where there is a normal GM. But I also see the oppertunity for a great thing, I doubt i'm the first one to think of this but what about bringing Edge in as GM? Fans would be absolutly thrilled, he could stay around and still make an impact. Again I would be very surprised if I was the first to think of this but I honestly dont see anyone who could be revealed as the GM that the fans would welcome and be happy with than Edge.

Right now they seem to be cruising with this thing. It's a plot device that covers the fact that there is no GM, and everyone has gotten so used to it, they have long since stopped wondering who it could be. It's time for it to go, but right now I don't see any sign that they are doing something about it.

Someday, they will tire of being lazy and think of a person behind it. I have expected for Michael Cole to be revealed as the one for a long time now (yeah, the GM sometimes made decisions Cole didn't like, but I'm sure they will ignore that). Don't know what's keeping them. It seems like the obvious conclusion, and Cole would make an excellent GM, especially now that it's become obvious that he needs to move away from commentary (at least for a while).
