Some people are talking about sting that would sooo F'N ruuule!! sadly I don't think the pay off will be that big. IMO HHH would be dull and obvious likewise Shawn or cole. (someone just called cole one of the biggest heel commentators of all time... Bit strong?)

Nope I think it will be (drum roll) Jack Tunney!!

Im was hoping the GM was going to be The Rock... but now, I just want the GM to be in on the whole Nexus thing. I hope its someone who makes a return and is the leader of the Nexus. Someone had mentioned Triple H. I think that would be good... turn him heel again right off the bat, be the leader of Nexus.

The only issue I see with this is, He is going to want the Title. And if Barrett is champ, I do not see them co existing at all.

The GM thing is kinda annoying but you have to be able to hate something. Cole is a good heel announcer. Only problem is that i don't know how they think the whole email thing is beleiveable. Emailing is slow and last week when he opened the laptop he was "reading" his email but a pop-up window was in the middle of the screen blocking the screen. Also his desktop has alot of "document" icons on it. hard to notice at first but it was me trying to read the email like an idiot.

They need to take out the anymous part and just announce it as cole. He becomes GM and Punk is a temp announcer while he heals from injuries.

The GM storyline is VINTAGE WWE!

Seriously, it is getting a bit tiresome, and I am beginning to lose interest. It is just a bit ridiculous how 2 guys can be in the ring talking...wrestler 1 makes a comment and by the time wrestler 2 responds, the "anonymous GM" has already sent an email to Michael Cole.... so unbelievable.

I am just a bit sick of it now, this pay-off better be worth it. I hope it is a BIG star, like a Goldberg, Sting, or Triple H....or even Michael Cole.

As long as its not Abraham Washington, or some other guy that noone really cares about.

Would be great if it was Paul Heyman or Shane

When Edge and Jericho where having their problems with the mystery GM, I was excited.
It looked to me as if they where going to have an angle with one of the two looking to revile who the GM was, so much for that. Now we are back where we started, Stale, boring, and tiresome.

I am going to claim that the mystery GM is Teddy Long. Vince told him a few months ago his job was on the line and he needed it to make an impact, what better way than to bring in Nexus and take over both brands. This could be the thing that merges both shows and leads to title unification matches.

I would love the triple threat of Teddy Long, Vickie Guerrero, and Michale Cole.

Here's a suggestion; what about Val Venus? He was recently re-hired by the WWE. It is unsure what role Val Venus will play, it could be possible that he was brought back to be used as the GM of Raw. Thoughts?

Kinda hoping VKM is GM. He could been one put Nexus together to resotre order in the WWE because before with all guests hosts and before guest hosts was no order, now it is. Can be like Nexus beat down on VKM all set up so Vince could fool fans once again. VKM is a great heel and him being behind Nexus rub off very well on them.

it better not be some one obvious like hhh or cole...that would piss me off..it really has to catch us off guard....if it was sting that would b amzing...although we r saying it here it would catch us off guard cause we r saying it more like a fantasy and 3 months ago we didn't think that.

Sadly I think it's going to be announced to be Abe Washington, the way Cole reads what has been sent, just reminds of Abe a lot.
Either way this GM needs to be announced within the next few weeks before it's totally dead, we've been made to wait 4+ month and it's boring now.

The raw gm could be anybody, here's my list of candidates

The Rock- in a recent interview, the rock said and I quote "I do plan on going back and hosting. I was actually gonna go back this month, but the day I was going to host, I had to go to Mexico for promotion of the movie, so we had to cancel that," Johnson said. "I've remained close with Vince McMahon over the years, but here's the key. It's not just to go back and host. I don't want to do that. I want to go back and host and do something special. I want to entertain the fans in ways they haven't been entertained in years

Triple H- it could possibly be triple h because Triple H is due to make his return soon. The anonymous Raw General manager and the true leader of Nexus could be Vince McMahon’s son-in-law. Wade Barrett is always smiling at most of the general managers emails, and the nexus, have attacked many people who are connected to triple H in some way
Sheamus-this guy put triple H on the shelf for a while
John Cena- for getting all the spotlight on the TV
Mr. .McMahon- For giving cena all the spotlight
The Undertaker- for ending the career of Shawn Michaels

Stone Cold Steve Austin- a clue was given on raw it says and I quote "If you want some action give me a hell yea!" Michael Cole said, then he said "And that’s the Bottom line cause the new GM Said so"

Bret Hart- he could return back to his post that the nexus took away from him

Abraham Washington- a totally random and shocking choice, which not many people would expect

And Vincent Kennedy McMahon- he likes all this controversy and tricking everyone, and goading people into an idea of something than suddenly shocking them, he could be giving nexus what they want to goad them into thinking he is on their side, and then he could turn on them

I'll tell you who I think it won’t be

Batista- Because of his MMA plans
Santino Marella- because it would be utterly stupid
Hulk Hogan- for obvious reasons (TNA)

All in all i want it to be The Rock or Triple H and definetly not Bret Hart or the great Santino Marella :worship:

I would really like to see CM Punk be the new GM. It was reported WWE wanted to put him in a non wrestling role on RAW untill he returns from injury. How great would that be? The guy is outstanding on the mic. He could work the heel GM who wants to make RAW into a Straight Edge brand. This would also be unexpected and would definately suprise the fans.

Well rumours are running around that Nash might join WWE but that's just rumours. What if he was brought as GM it could work right?

But this is just assuming he is hired, this could also keep Nash from wrestling prominently if wrestling at all. Just a thought.

This is my thinking about the GM---I think it is Michael Cole and reason being he is the only one with a cell phone and reads the computer???? Than again I do not think Triple H is for the reason we the WWE Universe is waiting for his return to the ring to shut Sheamus up---Whoever it is Must be really worried about Wade Barrett because here lately he has been making alot of matches and the GM has done nothing about it

Oh come on now!!!! Triple H can not be the GM he would not put some of those matches together that we have seen---At first hints came through for Stone Cold and the Rock Come on now----Vince knew what he was doing putting this storyline together but now this storyline ranks rite there When Mark Henry was involved with Mae Young---Triple H needs to come back and teach some a lesson who is in charge---but than again if Cena gets beat with a 5 on 1 attack so will Triple H I think what Smackdown did last week was great they stood beside one and another and did not let Nexus take thier show Raw has and dont know how much longer this can go on We need some entertainment Back Would u like to see The Rock vs John Cena battling with words and seeing who is better at it I would

I would like it to be someone great like The Rock, or Stone Cold, or maybe even Goldberg. But I've noticed that when ever there is a "big mystery" in the WWE, the fans' imaginations are usually better than what actually happens.

So we'll be expecting the mystery GM to be someone like the former wrestlers already mentioned, but it'll most likely be a let down like Vince, Shane, or Stephanie McMahon. Or even worse, Linda.

Sorry guys, maybe there was a thread about this before, but nothing recent that I could see. And before, I really could have cared less who it was. I was just purely upset about Bret Hart being gone from the role, and found it cheesy and was generally apathetic toward it. But it feels like it's been going on forever now, and it's just kind of mind-numbing. I guess it gives Michael Cole another reason to act like a complete asshole, but still this is getting redundant. My questions are:

1) Who do you think it could end up being?
2) Do you think WWE even knew where they were going when this angle began?
3) If not, do you think they even have it figured out yet?

The main problem I have with this angle is the potential for it to turn out terribly inconsistent with who the GM has and has not been favoring. My biggest case in point is when he pulled Bret Hart from the match with Justin Gabriel the night after Summerslam because "he never liked Bret Hart". That's the biggest thing I'm watching out for lol. To me, it would just feel safe and make sense for it to be Triple H. (hence the hating Bret Hart) Maybe he's even the mastermind behind the Nexus and could go that route, because really it would give him a direction to go in as a heel. But then again, it would be nice to have a complete shock and surprise like it ends up being the Rock. (in a very short lived role, he could resign soon thereafter and go back to movies) And I know that's highly unlikely, but I just wanted to throw out an example. I am unwilling to accept the Michael Cole theory of him just being the GM himself, because how could he e-mail himself without Jerry Lawler noticing? But, I am eager to hear everyone else's ideas.

Pretty basic question here. For months we have been speculating over who the anonymous GM is. A lot of names have been mentioned by the IWC including several that were featured on last nights Raw. My question is should the GM have been revealed last night as an old school superstar? Personally, I think the angle has been horrible and it should have ended months ago, but last night would have been the night to end it in my opinion.

Honestly this whole thing is getting tiresome. The new Raw GM should have been revealed months ago and I even think there are some who have even forgotten or don't even care anymore. WWE dropped the ball on this one.

Has anyone considered that the new GM might be Joey Styles? I still stand by my earlier prediction of Michael Cole, but it seems that Joey Styles might be a close second. Consider his recent tweets and his updating his bio to say he is no longer a WWE announcer. He fits the mold perfectly...

Well I'm going to throw my two cents in here.

Chris Jericho.

He would happily endorse Barrett and the Nexus being Wade's pro during NXT. He has been gone for most of the GM's run, before leaving he distanced himself from being the GM, a telltale sign in wrestling. And I don't know, Jericho would be good as the heel GM.

There's my two cents.

there is no way that Chris Jericho is the GM of Raw as for one, his contact has expired and he is currently touring the UK with his band Foggy. I don't know who the GM is, but i Know who its not and that's Chris Jericho.

Alright, it was an idea. Why not?

his contact has expired

So? They could talk this plan with Jericho, and bring him back when he's needed. Maybe that's why the GM has been so generic in his stuff, in case Jericho doesn't come through with his side.

and he is currently touring the UK with his band Foggy.

He doesn't have to be in the building to be the GM you know. And it's Fozzy. Not Foggy.

I don't know who the GM is, but i Know who its not and that's Chris Jericho.

You don't know that for sure. This is wrestling. People said this same thing about Danielson's return and guess who the United States champion is. Never say never in wrestling.

I honestly think the Raw GM will get fired before we find out who it actually is because I don't think WWE knows who it is. I think it is simply a way of pissing off the crowd and getting a good heel reaction without somebody actually having to be there. Plus before this how many times did we get to see the GM be used so much?

I think hes most likely not. Remember before the 6 pac challenge where Orton won the title? Yea well before that remember how the GM was screwing with Jericho, not letting him be in the match and Jericho protesting against the GM. He wouldnt do that if hes the GM would he.

I have to say I am getting really tired of the current GM gimmick they are pulling. It isn't even the idea of an anonymous GM throwing emails and all that that bothers me. It's Michael Cole. I like him as an announcer (though his current heel work is annoying also) but the constant "May I have your attention please!" and "And I quote" is beyond annoying now.

Sadly, he gets more heat for doing this stuff than most of the roster does in general. But I digress. I still say WWE has no idea who the hell the GM will turn out to be. We can all make guesses and attempt to figure it out, in the end it'll probably be someone random or someone who has been GM previously.

I'd still like it to be Joey Styles though. Don't know why though...
