I can't help but think that this ends up being Ryder's chance to make his character a little more serious. It would make sense to me. Who would keep running around saying "woo woo woo" or "bro!" anymore if they were in Ryder's shoes? He is heartbroken, frustrated, and will want answers. Eve is likely going to turn heel. Breaking Zack's heart will get her no cheers. Cena and Ryder will probably have some type of confrontation where Zack calls him out on "Hustle Loyalty, Respect" etc and how he never thought his "bro" would do that to him. So few faces feel anything outside of happiness or sadness, this is a perfect opportunity to develop Zack Ryder's character. He has to step up here, it can lead to great things for Ryder.

Kane might try to make Ryder embrace the hate now too. The storyline took an interesting twist. Cena's exiting it as soon as he's had his match with Kane to build up his match with The Rock. That will leave Eve and Ryder with Kane in this angle for a potential Wrestlemania storyline. Will Ryder embrace the hate? Will he take a more serious step with his character? People think he will turn heel now, but I just don't see that happening. He's a popular rising star who needs to be a face. I hope it leads into a Wrestlemania match for Kane and Ryder. Eve's involvement could change a number of things too, so this storyline is not ending anytime soon. I'm interested in seeing where it goes from here.

Kane vs Ryder at WM28 seems to be in the works, but will it be too late for Ryder?

Ryder was on the verge of being one of the biggest faces the WWE had. The fans were really starting to get behind him. He was starting to get better in the ring, his promo work was also getting better.

Although he hasn't been taken completely off of TV, losing the US Title, and being taken out of an active wrestling role has hurt his overall growth. Having him attached to a weird love triangle with Cena and Eve is also pretty fucking dumb, because of how big of a star Cena is, and the fact that Cena is going on to face the Rock at WM28.

Don't get me wrong love triangle story lines have worked in the past but this one just seems out of place given the circumstances, and the events that are already in the works in the near future.

Props to Ryder for taking such a nasty bump last night, not to mention the load of other nasty bumps he's taken over the past few weeks at the hands of Kane.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a Ryder fan, but I'm enjoying him right now.

Is it wrong for me to want them to keep bringing him out every week so that Kane can find a new, creative way to hurt him? Then with each passing week, he's more bandaged up... until finally Ryder's in a head to toe body plaster body cast with just eye holes and a mouth hole.

This storyline that Zack Ryder is currently involved in can be nothing but good for him. He is being beaten by Kane and now I see a feud brewing with the main man in the company in John Cena.

I think Ryder will face Kane at Wrestlemania has it has to have some sort of payoff. If it wasnt for Kane then he wouldnt have missed 4 Raws and he would have been around for Eve but Kane took that away from him. But I am hoping that when The Rock has beaten John Cena at Wrestlemania, then Ryder will go after Cena
