I like the Dibiase story. And I agree, that would be a good way to do it.
(Remember, I asked for your ideas, meaning they may be far fetched and never happen, so there is no use in anyone shooting them down for being "morons" and tsaying "you're stupid if you think the WWE would ever do that," because that isnt the point of this thread, so people don't need to post that stuff)
My push is someone I have been hearing a lot of praise over, and I agree this guy is gold, The Miz. I won't go in as much detail, but I'll give you overall story. I would have Miz lose at the Rumble to MVP, but then later in the night in the Rumble, throw out at least one Main Event contender, one of the real big names. Then at the Elimination Chamber PPV, have him in the chamber, and of course not win, but again pin one or two of the top stars. That way going into Mania, he can keep the chip on his shoulder, and talk about how he has been costing these big names big matches. Have him qualify for MITB, and promise his "Wrestlemania Moment" and "To Make History" every week leading up. I would open WM with the MITB match, and in it, have him cleverly lay low, letting everyone else take the big bumps, and in the end, win the match. Then for the Main Event, Taker and Michaels do a looooooooong classic that tops last years, leaving them both destroyed with Taker winning and keeping his streak, but Miz coming out blasting Taker with the case, cashing in, and defeating a beaten, exhausted taker at WM ending the streak in a cheap way, that doesnt diminish Takers big win at Mania, but does kill the streak in a cheap way, making Miz continue with his "Have I earned it yet?!" rep, and creating an instant legacy for his win, even if he did do it cheaply. Also, it always Takers feud going into Mania to keep anyone from even thinking a young up and comer could end it, and it allows for a huge shock moment. I'd love something like that.
