Throw this week out and there still isn't a legitimate case. Obviously Rodgers and Brees go in ahead of him but no way does Manning deserve it more. Stafford led his team to more wins and has Eli beat in almost every individual stat category. Stafford may have Calvin but Eli has the superior running game and also has some great talent at receiver as well. Going into this week Victor Cruz is third in the NFL, just behind Calvin, in receiving yards.
Nate - I rarely disagree with you but Manning is a better QB. Manning has Victor "Who in the blue hell is Victor?" Cruz. Anyone can throw lobs to Megatron and rack up significant stats. Megatron was in Randy Moss mode this year.

John Fox can be too conservative a times.
There is not a single person who can make a legitimate case for Stafford not being a pro bowler.
During the halftime report I saw Matt Flynn's stat line. Holy fucking fucking fuck.
Victor Cruz being the #3 WR in football supports my argument. Who the F is Victor Cruz? Certainly not the #1 pick in the draft.
He's a FA this year too, I'm willing to bet that if GB doesn't re-sign him for some reason that he will have no problem finding a new home. I hope we do re-sign him though, dude is an excellent "insurance policy".
You're really downplaying Victor Cruz's ability. He was second amongst NFL receivers in YAC yardage meaning that a lot of his yards were of his own doing and helped pad Eli's stats. Not to mention Eli also has Hakeem Nicks who has gone over 1,000 yards receiving the last 2 years.
Plus Stafford didn't just throw it up to Calvin all year. The Lions had 4 receivers over 600 yards receiving, 8 different players caught touchdown passes, and those same 8 all had at least 20 catches on the season.
Nothing against Stafford, I would love to have him on the Bills but you seemed really confident that there was no argument against him being an NFC Pro Bowler. I think I've made a pretty solid argument against it. I'm not entirely confident that Manning belongs in the Pro Bowl over Stafford but gun to my head I would go with Manning.
