Big win for the Lions. Washington has obviously struggled this year but it was still a road win in a place where they had never won before in the franchise's history. Matt Stafford has been very impressive this season and the Lions now have a big game next week at home against Chicago. The winner of that game will be first in the division for the first quarter of the season.

Holy fuck we have a competent QB finally. Perfect throw to Jennings and he did the rest.

I may weep for joy if Cassel keeps it up.

Cassel has had 2 good-great seasons as a starter (NE and KC under Weis), but that Todd Haley experience really fucked him over, which seems to be happening to Roethlisberger.

Brian Hoyer 8/8, 80 yds, 1 TD.

After a week of praise for Jay Cutler's play against the Steelers, he reverts back to the Jay Cutler we know and love.

This is what I sent to my brother:

Soft zone bullshit defense
Steelers march down and score a TD
Get the ball back with 3 minutes.
3 and out
Punt
Steelers march down score to end the game

Let's see if this plays out.

Houston should have won that game.

Cassel plays well but the Vikings coach trolls Vikings fans everywhere by naming Ponder the starting QB next week.

What the fuck happened to the Giants?

The Browns are now 2-2 and Mike Lombardi be like:

I understand that it's a passing league/game now. But the Ravens seem to have forgotten that establishing a run game keeps defenders at home, sets up play action, and, with Ray-f'ing-Rice, has the possibility of breaking off a big gain. 5 damn rushes for Ray in the whole game. Color me disappointed. It's like Cam Cameron never left.

Another great win for the Lions and the score was a lot closer then the game actually was. They still need to cut down on the dumb turnovers but they've been much better this year vs last year in that regard. The defense made some big plays and this team overall is looking even better then the 2011 team that went to the playoffs.

Good for Andy Reid. As an Eagles fan(and yes, that's hard to say right now) Andy has been synonymous with football since I started watching. It's a travesty the way Philly fans treated a guy who gave us so much to cheer about for all those years and I couldn't be happier for his success. Nobody deserves it more and I'm glad he seems to be back to having fun coaching.

Didn't you hear? The Lions cheated. At least, according to some Bears players. They claim Israel Idonije gave Detroit all of Chicago's signals. Even though Chicago switched coaching staffs over the off season, after Idonije was gone. Apparently, based on those accusations, it can be inferred that the Bears coaching staff is not only too lazy to bother changing Lovie Smith's schemes and terminology, but were also too stupid to realize that Idonije, like every free agent signed ever, might provide insight to his new team, and didn't bother to change anything. Even though he has never seen Marc Trestman's playbook. Also, their loss had absolutely nothing to do with Jay Cutler's pathetic play. Nope. It was all that no good cheatnik Israel Idonije.
