Another man has already been the first to break out of the NXT shadow--his name is Daniel Bryan. But I know what you mean, lol.

I believe Tarver CAN be an asset to either group; however, I personally believe he shouldn't join them and go out on his own. A possible feud with another nexus/corre member is a good way to start. But since this is WWE we're talking about, they'll probably never mention his former allegiance to the nexus anyway...

Michael Tarver definitely has the look of a future star, although I'm not too sure about the skills. He's still pretty green, but he's a big man so that'll definitely benefit him. If I had to make a guess, I'd say he'd peak at the upper midcard with a few teases at main event status. I probably wouldn't put the world title on him any time soon, though.

I was also don't think that he needs Necus or the Corre, to succeed, however if he just starts on his single career now it may not be good, he may need Nexus or The Corre, to get him started up and thenmaybe do the turn and then it will boost his single career. I always felt he was terribly underrated in Nexus on NXT everywhere, I really hope they give him a good future, he deserves it.

Are you serious?

I find Michael Tarver one of the weakest links of the original Nexus, if he went out on his own then he'd be the next Darren Young with occasional Superstar matches. I honestly don't see anything in Tarver. He can barely talk in-general, he is completely boring on the mic and you can barely understand him. There was never anything special about his matches or in-ring skills from what we've seen on his matches from RAW/NXT. He's still very green and I think that adding him into the Nexus or Corre would help him out more than him being on his own. He doesn't really fit in either group since they seem to have the roles filled but he'd work better in Corre except if he was in Nexus then we would never have to hear him talk which would be a plus....

I just don't see this guy going anywhere in a single's career anytime in the near future. I just don't see it.

I have no clue where WWE is going with him randomly appearing backstage at events (like Teddy Long getting attacked), I doubt he could be the one in-charge of that as the storyline seems to be getting bigger and it's too big for where Tarver currently is.
