NCAA Championship 2011- Who's it going to be?

People will bitch regardless. If their team loses a play-off game, it's "because of the refs". So in the end it really doesn't matter, people are going to bitch.

I'd much rather have people bitch about little things then things like what happened in 2004. A result like that for Auburn cannot be rationalized. Even if there was just a plus one system, there is never going to be more then 4 undefeated power conference teams. The BCS is most definitely flawed.

I still am a fan of bowl games. It's a bunch of mini championship games. That's more emotions than you'll see in a play-off game. We are off topic btw.

I think Ohio State will win. Nuff said.

1. You would still have Bowl Games with the plus one system which is the system that I prefer. Nobody is talking about getting rid of bowl games, just adding some extra games.

2. Terrelle Pryor is very overrated and I see Ohio State losing two games this year partly because of his play. One good game against an average Oregon defense does not sell me at all on Pryor.

You may want to add more to your post homie. Anyways, I realize one person doesn't make a team but quarterback is the most important position on the field and no matter how good the team is if the qb plays like shit then a win is not guaranteed. Pryor is inaccurate and turns the ball over too much. Those things can cost your team games.

FYI, I despise the SEC. I hate Auburn. I am a Big Ten fan all the way...but, that doesn't stop me from seeing how Auburn got fucked over. The very fact that they had to pick two of three shows the flaws in the current system. At least in a playoff, you lose on the field, because of your play, not in a newspaper. NCAA Division III has no problems with a playoff. Division II has no problems with a playoff. Division IAA (well, formerly known as IAA) has no problems with a playoff. The NFL has no problems with a playoff either. Nor does every state high school football division. Yet, the playoffs aren't a viable solution to NCAA division I? BULL SHIT.

While I think the NCAA should add a plus 1 game, at worst, I think this is Boise State's best opportunity to get their BCS title win. They will start, in the polls, inside of the top 5. Instead of working their way up the rankings, they're gonna start out there right away. If they do beat VT and Oregon State in September, I won't be surprised if they are placed #2 in the polls, just behind of Alabama (except in the case of a serious collapse). Boise has the talent and schedule to go far, and, for the first time, a non-BCS team is capable of making it to the championship game.

But if they drop any game in the season, faghettaboutit.

The problem is that the usa today coaches poll won't let a team like Boise State play. They will throw them a bone, and let them have an at large bid for one of the other BCS games, but you would see an undefeated BSU ranked #3, not 1 or 2. They would protect the BCS conferences, claiming that even undefeated, Boise doesn't deserve it because they don't play in a BCS conference against a BCS conference schedule. The entire BCS is a sham, a racket designed to line the pockets of the six chosen conferences.
