Happened to mine earlier this Summer. My friend somehow managed to fix it. He's good with that shit.

There's a gaming shop in town that gives that deal if you go to them for your first fix.

Oh, I know, but mine has already been fixed once. The guy who did it told me that after the first fix it's best to just get a new one. I have a good deal, though. Trade in this one, get a brand new slim for $170 and he throws all my memory off the old one onto the new one.

You should sell it on eBay for double what you're trading in for. Just say that it was working before the other guy had it. You blame it on him, he blames it on you. Nobody but you and him know what really went down.

I was actually thinking of selling a broken WWE figure that I glued back together online once. Although some little kid expecting to play with a fancy 2007 version of Cody Rhodes would have been really disappointed, I think 5$ would have been worth the extra cash.

There is, but I don't feel like getting it fixed over and over again. I ended up getting a new slim. Totally worth it.

Best remedy I can offer for any PS3 is to add me on IRM_Punk, and triple your enjoyment of your system. As for your problem at hand I never new that could happen, I had the old fat 60 model but sold it and upgraded to a slim.

I did this and it worked!!

My system is at least three times more enjoyable.

But Jay and I actually need to run through a game sometime.
