My parents installed software to lockdown my interwebs

My response? I guess I'll have to go for tonight.

I jest, use ultrasurf bitches.

Why didn't you add any proxy programs in your list, Sly?

Freegate sucks ballsack now, but tor just doesn't work for me.
Because most people don't need proxy programs. And where I work, we try to keep people from using those proxies.

For example:

1) What Operating System are you using? XP or Vista (I'm guessing)

2) What is the User Account that you are working on?

3) How much do your parents know about computers.

4) Whenever you first turn on your computer, does the computer load immediately into Windows, or does it ask you to sign in as one of the Users first?

Oh yeah, you're a teacher.

XP

Computer administrator account on my laptop.
3) How much do your parents know about computers.
My dad knows quite a bit.

Asks you to sign in.

Then, you can log in to Safe mode as THE Administrator. Once you're logged in, try creating a new account, with full Administrator privileges. Your new account SHOULDN'T have the blocking software on it. Fairly easy, I would imagine. Haven't tried it though.

The other option is to install an additional Operating System, like a Linux system, and have your computer have the option of dual booting. That can be fun too.

They put it on the home computer which is connected to the router we have.

Ultrasurf is working fine enough. I don't think there any software actually on the laptop.
