My criteria for voting in the WZ tournament.

I'm gonna actually particiapte in every thread this year so I figured I'd let you all in on my personal criteria.
Who I like better will play a part in how i vote but it will get the smallest consideration when I put in my vote.

How they did at the height of their careers in the country they predominatly wrestled in (In the case of Hart vs KENTA I would look at Hart 'srecord, title wins and drawing power[I supopse this part is non-kayfabe as well] in North America and Kenta's in Japan). I really don't think it's fair win a case like this to only look at one country a man like Kobashi ,who is one of the best, has wreslted only 3 matches in North America.

Who the fans liked more (again in their respective countries)

Who worked a better match with their opponents.
I'm trying to keep it as Kayfabe as possible because IMO bering personal lives/problems isn't fair *cough*hardy Vs Benjamin*cough** That's all I got now but if Icome up with any more I'll post them

i just didn't want to pad tournament posts with my citeria. i can just link to this thread for people to check out of they want and get on to the more important part of the posts

To be honest, I'm just someone with some pretty skewed views on things. So I tend to just do the point and choose after being spun around 14 times. That seems to be the most fair in my opinion, I tend to like all wrestlers. But I just more gravitate towards the evil ones to make up for my Goody-Two Shoes existence. I think that seems to try to balance everything.

To each his ( or in the case her) own.

Sometimes though I wish KB would make an official set of Criteria. That would really cut down on the bitching I've seen over the years.

True. Because, I get why some people bitch, but I still think no matter how new or veteran the wrestler is, each of them is what makes/made the WWE/ or whatever Federation they are in now. Like the tourney says, its a debate, and its for peeps to debate about. I mean, each person sees something different in each wrestler.

Who I think would win the match if the 2 opponents met in their prime is another one.
Also where the match takes place is something else I will take into consideration. In the case of ted Dibiase Vs JBL Dibiase would get the edge here because he was billed from West Palm Beach, FL (Spring residence) and the match takes place in Miami

Why put criteria on the way people vote though? IF KB were to put in a guideline, how many people would really follow it anyway? I enjoy it when guys like Coco, Sam or Jake try to make a case for someone that clearly isn't going to win a match.

Anyone in their right mind knows that Jeff Hardy means more to the business then Shelton Benjamin, but the fact that that match is so close, it's driving up conversation. I enjoy reading most of it.

I'm open to the highest bidder. want me to vote for somebody? Ask. Unless it's against HBK.
