Houston's Hometown Hero
I was recently reading The Ross Report where Jim Ross was supposedly answering a question from a fan about whether or not he thought MVP was the next Rock. Now while I found this to be an interesting question, I am kind of bothered by how Ross answered it. Now during cross branded matches matches, Ross usually stays in "kayfabe" mode when referencing non-RAW wrestlers, pretending to not have alot of knowledge or historical information. That's why I found it to be odd that he offered a brief yet deep analysis of the MVP of Smackdown. To me this seemed like a good question, but rather oddly placed and seemed more like an attempt to get people to be more accepting towards MVP if the inevitable face turn occurs. And while I can see the similarities between the two, I find MVP to be the last wrestler that I would compare to The Rock for future potential.
