Most Successful Stable in TNA history (sans MEM)?

It's Damn Real!

The undisputed, undefeated TNA &
In their shot history, TNA have had a number of stables rise (and fall) and as a result, a number of their talents were really elevated, and historically speaking, when you look back on the days of the stables respectively, they were often the best thing going in the company at the time. 3Live Kru, Disciples of the New Church, The Gathering, The Latin American XChange, Voodoo Kin Mafia, Triple X, Serotonin, Team Canada, The Kings of Wrestling, Planet Jarrett and Sports Entertainment Xtreme among countless others have all called TNA home at one point or another.

Since I'm fairly positive the Main Event Mafia would absolutely run away with this, I've eliminated them as a choice, mainly to try to incite and encourage a number of you to think a little harder before answering.

So, who in your opinion, is the most successful stable in TNA's history outside the MEM? That is, what stable had the greatest impact, created the most stars and/or created the most memorable events in TNA's short history?

For now, I've chosen to eliminate the polling process from this, despite my affinity for them, because I've noticed the easier a time I give, the more users tend to take advantage of it by not actually discussing their votes, so if you intend to voice your opinion on this thread, you'll have to post in it.

Most Successful stable that TNA had was probably Planet Jarrett in my opinion. Planet Jarrett was a focal point of TNA programming for a number of months, and had 4 NWA titles and 1 NWA Tag Titles (that lasted seemingly forever), plus they were a pretty good stable on top of it (AMW is probably my favorite TNA tag team ever and Team Canada (which was my favorite stable in TNA history) was also in it for a time). There was quite a long time where it seemed that Planet Jarrett was pretty much the entire show, and it was also at a time where I felt TNA was hitting a stride (I still think D'amore was the best booker TNA ever had). Not only that, during this time I felt that James Storm was probably the best heel in TNA at the time and AMW carried the Tag Team division during that time, not to mention they had other big stars at the time such as Scott Steiner and Monty Brown (he had a pretty good run while in TNA). They also had the best manager in TNA at the time in Gail Kim (who was actually quite good as a heel manager). There were other Stables they had which had a good run (SEX for example), but I think Planet Jarrett was the best because of their dominance and the members they had.

I was always a really big fan of The New Church. It was dark and James Mitchel is the perfect ring leader. I'd love to see The New Church return to TNA.

Now don't go making fun of me--------but couldn't we consider The Beautiful People in this? They get alot of airtime and are always in some sort of storyline...and are probably the longest running of all the stables mentioned.

I'm not saying they are the most successful- but they should atleast be put on the list.

The New Church because they had that nasty James Mitchell leading them. Why hasn't this new regime of TNA reached out to Mitchell? Oh, wait a minute. Does Mitchell have something to do with this new ECW faction or is this all Paul Heyman's deal? Who would love to see Paul Heyman and James Mitchell duke it out on the mic?

Really hard to argue against Planet Jarrett as the most successful. Triple X was the best for in-ring entertainment. Team Canada might have actually been the most memorable thanks to its longevity (and Petey Williams). It really depends on your criteria. But I think we can all agree on which one was the LEAST successful...

*wolf howls*

Thank you Hall, Nash, and Waltman for setting the bar so low! Even The Oddities carried themselves with more dignity.

Depends how you measure success. Most people would probably look at money drawn or ratings. In my opinion, the way to measure the success of a stable or faction is how many of them become established stars after the group is split. As far as that goes, I suppose you would have to say Team Canada. I think I'm right in saying that of all the groups they had the most newer talent that has went on to become mainstays on TNA'a show.

I'm a little surprised no one put in The Christian Coalition in this thread. He had quite a gaggle of stars in his group. You run down the list, he had himself, Tomko, AJ, Abyss,James Mitchell, Angle, Karen, (part of Angle Alliance overlap) Steiner. He also had at one point Robert Roode and Tracy Brooks towards the end as well, and possibly James Storm. That was a pretty bad ass group if ya ask me. Plus I thought when it was him, AJ, Tomko that was some of THE BEST comedy if you ask me. I think he really knows what brings out humor in people whether he's a heel or face. :)

Sorry people but It's Damm real forgot one probley by accient the WORLD ELITE

The world elite feuded with the main event Mafia for a short time they also feuded with Rhino and Tna frontline. They were a anti America group ( yes I know that it has been done to the death but this time it was all right) The grop started July 23, 2009 ended early 2010.

Fellas, fellas – I didn't forget any stables. I know there are others like the World Elite, Beautiful People, etc. who I didn't name – it's why I wrote specifically "and countless others" toward the end of that sentence.

I'm not "forgetting" them, or "rejecting" them in any sense, and I'm not saying none deserve to make the "list" – I just didn't feel like naming all the stables I could off the top of my head.

For me, though, the greatest stables was Team Canada. While SEX and Planet Jarrett were bigger and had bigger star power in them, Team Canada owned TNA for a short time, and they're one of the only stables I really truly miss in TNA. They had some of the most memorable moments in TNA in their television infancy, even joining with Planet Jarrett at one point in time.

I loved Team Canada. They reminded me on what made a stable great with Petey Williams being such a great cocky heel and Robert Roode being the muscle and Eric Young getting scared of the pyro. It was a great time to be a fan of TNA.
