Yesterday I was watching a movie The Players Club in the movie there's a scene in which Bernie Mac starts to chant Money Money Yeah Yeah! (In case you didn't know were Crime Time got that from) and I look at the WZ main page and I see a couple of articles about Cena. The first was about a new endorsement for Fruity Pebbles. The second was a picture from a live event about new merchandise, a t-shirt the front says Let's Go Cena CENA SUCKS,the back is WE (the no sign over Cena's face) U.

This has to be one of the best marketing strategies in the history of WWE. If you hate the guy your going to pay to do so. The haters already pay by buying a ticket to boo him but now WWE is counting on their stupidity even more you buy the shirt directed at the person you hate he'll receive a cut so that defeats the purpose. So when your at a WWE event and the person next to you chants CENA SUCKS while wearing the shirt just look at him or her like the moron that they are and tell them how stupid they look.

When Cena says it doesn't effect him it doesn't when he gets his check every month and a royalty check on top of that. So go buy the shirt prove P.T. Barnum correct about a sucker being born every minute.

Question: If you were to use another superstar with the same marketing strategy who would it be.

You forget one point.... people that dont like John Cena dont give a crap how much money he makes.
The problem is how his character is used and how he has been allowed to dominate the show for the last few years.
I myself have no animosity towards the guy and If I genuinely wanted to buy this T-Shirt to express my dislike for him then I wouldnt care less if proceeds went straight to Cena's pocket. The man is a MultiMillionaire already, even if WWE didnt give him a single penny for the rest of his career he would still be a rich man so why cry about a few T-shirt revenues?

You missed the point If people hate the character so much don't vote for it. Every time you see Cena and don't turn the channel your casting your vote. If you hate the character so much don't buy the merchandise with his likeness on it because your casting your vote for him. For the past two years on these forums all I read was boycott WWE and Cena because it's stale and boring. Yeah some boycott. You what was a real boycott, Roberto Alomar. When he spit in the umpires face people were livid, fans turned their backs to him or just went on a bathroom break until something was done about it. You want to boycott Cena don't cast your vote. People were tired of Bret and Shawn they stopped voting for it and as in votes it means money. Always has always will.
