MMA in the Bar room!! *In memorium of JMT and TDigs' thread*

Rashad should honestly hang it up. Dude was a pioneer in the sport, had some memorable moments(dat Liddell KO tho), won a title, but he hasn't looked good in years. I hear Kennedy is going to be his next opponent. It's been almost two years since Kennedy last fought, though he was robbed big time in that fight.

Suga Rashad is long gone. Old man Rashad is all we have left and I doubt he's got a Dan Henderson like finish coming up soon.

Can we all just agree that Hendo has to win the title? Fuck it, rig the scorecards for all I care. If they don't put Hendo into the Hall of Fame before his retirement fight for the title it's complete bullshit. Let him go out for his final fight as a Hall of Famer and compete for the one major championship that he has never won against one of his most heated rivals.

Does it weaken the prestige of the Middleweight title if Hendo just mows through Bisping like freshly cut grass? I mean the man is closing an undoubted HOF career, but I don't think I'd like to see Hendo try to defend his title if he were to win it. Maybe I'm counting out The Count here, but he looked lost in the last fight with Hendo, and while he's wiser, he never has been able to take a big shot.

As far as Joanna, I'm not claiming she's inferior to Ronda, I just think she doesn't have the drawing power as Ronda, although give VanZant about 4 or 5 years and if she could constantly focus on MMA, and I think you got your next big Female MMA Star, who could possibly rival Joanna at that time, if she remains champion.

Either Michael Bisping or a muscular man who looked like Michael Bisping ran past me in the street two days ago. My girlfriend lives near a luxury hotel so I think it might have actually been him.

If Cerrone gets a title shot before Maia it's complete bullshit. Same goes for him jumping Wonderboy. Cerrone is third in line at best and most likely fourth should GSP decide he wants to return.

Dana said he was thinking of Rumble/Jones winner gets DC or something along those lines. I'd rather see Rumble/DC again, I've been burned too many times by DC/Jones that I flatout refuse to pay for that fight ever again.

So for UFC 203, betting odds are... .

Overeem: +118
Miocic: -132

Werdum: -219
Browne: +191

Punk: +279
Gall: -321

From what I'm seeing from Punk's videos, unless Gall is dramatically less than competent or Punk is hustling the world, Punk will be fortunate to make it a minute.

Can't wait for number 30 at the Royal Rumble.

I wonder if he would be able to check his narcissism enough to be the backbone and a higher up in NXT and its office structure. For fine, fine money of course.

I was unsure if I would purchase this card. However a chance to see Travis Browne get wrecked by Werdum is well worth the cost.

From what I've heard, it's usually Triple H that mends fences with guys who hate WWE, like Warrior and Bruno. And considering Punk hates Trips more than anyone, and since Mrs. Punk isn't exactly pro-WWE either anymore, I can't see it happening yet.

Unless, of course, Gall embarrasses Punk so badly that Punk actually learns how to put aside his ego from time to time.

As stubborn as Punk is I don't imagine it matters how bad Gall beats him I don't think he's giving up MMA after one fight. Even if UFC let him go I think Punk would just go to smaller MMA promotion, which is probably where he should have started.

So If i bet $100, and CM Punk wins, I would get $363. Huge.

And Rivera being favorite against Faber surprises me.

I'm a huge CM Punk mark, and even I think that his most significant accomplishment in MMA will have been making Mickey Gall into a household name.
