Apparently MacGregor refuses to leave Iceland were he is training to come to a promotional gig for the fight. White put his foot down, MacGregor then demanded 10 mil. White said fuck yourself your out, Conor then retired.
Looks like he felt as if leaving would cost him any shot at winning, and if he loses again, he loses a ton of luster.....so then demanded the massive payday, since it'd be the last time he would make anything approaching that.
Got rejected, so he pulled the card he thought he could pull.

I was down to watch McGregor vs Diaz again - not my preferred fight, but fine - but Jones/Cormier II is the perfect fight for this card and I'm so hyped. Either it's the best in the world ascending back to the top or it's the upset of the century. Can't go wrong.
