It's not even a fight to decide who is the GOAT like it would have been in 2010 because Jones has passed them both.

Rousey is back at UFC 207 for the belt against Nunes.
Think Rousey wins but she really needs to leave her gym and go to an elite level gym. This shit show she's playing around with are the worst in MMA. Greg Jackson could make Rousey a thousand times better. Matt Serra & Ray Longo could do the same and provide hilarious moments along the way.

Almost any other gym would be better at this point, Edmond Tarverdyan is who you go to when you want you career to die. I would love to see her go to NY & join Serra/Longo though.
In other news, the NSAC fining Conor $150,000 & 50 hrs. community service for throwing a water bottle might just be the most absurd thing ever.

Apparently the NAC considered fining McGregor $300,000 even though the Nevada AG recommended a fine of 25k and 25 hours. Oh NAC, how you never cease to amaze me and have probably screwed yourselves over as you will probably never get another McGregor fight again.

It's crazy that Rousey still remains with Edmond after how he let her drown in the fight with Holm. That corner advice is still the worst I've ever heard. Browne has gone from contender to absolute joke and all Rousey's friends who joined the team have lost their fights. Nobody wins with this idiot training them.
Even Joanna left her team and joined American Top Team. The woman is undefeated, the best striker in MMA and she realised that to be a champion you have to keep getting better so she had to go to a top level team with other champions. It amazes me that Rousey hasn't woken up to how bad Edmond is and that she needs to leave. Come on, Joanna moved to a better gym without being KOed. Rousey should really start moving now.

I assume the fight will take place at LHW. I think Chael can win, but I don't expect a thrilling fight. Tito's win over Shlemenko was surprising, but he is a natural 185er. He then beat Stephan Bonnar, big deal. Chael is probably a better overall wrestler. I worry Chael may be rusty though. Three years off is a long time.

So they prove the guy is not a drug cheat and he still gets suspended? At least it's back dated to July. He'll be thirty when his suspension is up. Still young enough to get back into the cage and reclaim his title. Poor light heavyweight division, it remains a joke for another year while we wait for Jones.

From what I have read, he is being suspended because he failed the test prior to UFC 200, but is being cleared of taking an illegal substance knowingly. So they have to punish him for breaking the rules, but they are saying it was an accident? I guess that makes some sort of sense. Honestly the whole thing is very confusing to me.

Pretty much from what I read is that they're punishing him for failing the drug test and for being careless enough to take a random substance without at least checking out the substance first. Jones didn't make any attempt to see what ingredients were in the pill when he first took it. Instead he just asked a teammate if it worked as a sexual stimulant and that was it. If he had at least checked to see what ingredients were in the pills he took then he might have gotten a smaller suspension.
