With the Money in the bank ppv coming in a few months i was wondering who will win the respective matches for raw and smackdown.

Last year Kane won the smackdown briefcase and cashed the briefcase on the same night. He held the belt and had a really enjoyable title run.

The won the raw MITB and cashed in the briefcase a few months later on Orton and has held the belt ever since. His reign was different from Kane's as the for Miz the briefcase gave him the extra push into the main event.

So I was wondering who is winning this year? Will it be a young superstar looking or a push or will it be an already main even superstar taking the briefcase to keep relevant?

After the draft the rosters may be different but currently on Raw I see Ziggler winning. Possibly John Morrison or if something drastic happens Ted Dibiase.

On smackdown there are many who could win. Rhodes and Drew Mcintyre would be my first choices however Kofi could win it and would need the extra push. Wade Barret could also win but I don't think he needs it.

I know the statistic is everyone thats ever cashed it in has won the belt, so i kinda think there gonna throw us all off and make the next person fail....gut feeling

My picks are going to be Wade Barrett and Daniel Bryan. Barrett is a shoe in for the belt and with Bryan I just think theres some unfinished business with Miz that could work a battle for the belt after the summer.

I think it depends on the results of Extreme Rules and if the draft (if it's anytime soon) switches up the rosters. However, my predictions will go off of the current rosters. On the Smackdown side, depending on what happens with the match at Extreme Rules and what happens on this Friday (I don't read the spoilers) I can see either Christian or Del Rio winning the MITB on the Smackdown side as those two are currently the only ones I buy as world title contenders at the moment. Maybe with big Zeke being the only member of the Corre without a title, he could win the briefcase and maybe start tension among the Corre members with the others being jealous that he has a world title shot. As we saw on RAW already, the relationship between the members is already shaky.

On the RAW side, I see either Ziggler or Morrison taking the briefcase. I think it really depends on if the supposed backstage heat on Morrison has lifted yet. If not, then I see Morrison's push being stalled and Ziggler having a better chance at winning the title shot.

Regardless of who wins it though, my gut feeling is that one of the winners (if not both of them) will lose when they finally cash in the briefcase.

I think Morrison wins the Raw ladder match and ends Miz's reign the same way it started. He'll get a crazy big pop and this will be a great summer feud. (it does happen in summer right? idk)

If not Morrison I see Ziggler winning. He can say he doesn't need Vickie any more because he has his own title shot. This will be a test if he can get over on his own. Give him a few months to run with the case, if he gets over give him the strap, if not make him the first to loose and give him the whiny heel gimmick.

As for Smackdown, I think there are a few choices, but the one I'm going with is Swagger for a second time. This can work in two ways.

1.) He cashes in successfully against Del Rio and transitions to a face (a role I think he'll be great in)
2.) He cashes in unsuccessfully against Christian, after a hard fought battle, and Christian gets a mega push.

If not Swagger I see Christian winning and eventually capturing his first world title from Del Rio. In case you haven't noticed I have Del Rio pegged to win the world title soon.

I can Also see Big Zeke winning and Barrett costing him the belt.

Either Danial Bryan, or Dolph Ziggler.

The Smackdown...

Wade Barrett. A heel with a money in the bank briefcase always builds good heat. They have been building this guy since NXT. It just makes sense.

You won't see JoMo have it, cause he is creating some backstage heat. That stuff always holds down good talent.

I'm just hoping someone this year, blows. I wish the Miz did it. But, it has elevated his career.

in my opinion i HOPE JOMO wins def think he should fued with the miz..i think it could be sheamus tho...HHH is big on him n i think they want him back in the big picture so i could see him cashing in after a match between miz and another face...

on smackdown if christian doesnt win the title at Extreme Rules then he HAS to win money in the bank the guy deserves it. with kane being the last guy to win after all those years of hard work i can see them doing it again with christian and if he doesnt win well thats just bull spit

WHO WILL WIN:
RAW: DOLPH ZIGGLER
SMACKDOWN: CHRISTIAN

There's a chance Christian and Del Rio will already be feuding over the Smackdown Championship by the time MITB arrives. If that's the case, then Wade Barrett is the next likely choice for Smackdown.

WHO I'D LIKE TO SEE WIN:
RAW: ALEX RILEY (upset!)
This would create some interesting tension between he and The Miz. Riley goes from carrying Miz's briefcase around for him, to having his own and cashing in on Miz himself. Riley would also be a perfect candidate to be the first guy to LOSE when cashing in. He doesn't need to win this early into his career, plus it would make the Miz look strong as he would be the first champ to succesfully defend in that situation.

SMACKDOWN: JOHN MORRISON
Smackdown is in major need of some star power with Edge retiring. Morrison seems to be in the doghouse on RAW and a switch to Smackdown could be just what he, and Smackdown need. SD has always been more of the wrestling show, whereas RAW is the "sports entertainment" show. IMO, Jomo is a better fit on Friday Nights.

This is difficult. Mainly because Number One Contenders get built up for their match and if they win, well done. If they lose, better luck next time. But, the Money in the Bank for a mid-card talent can be huge.

Look at Edge, when he won in 2005 he had never won a World Championship, and in January 2006, he won the WWE Championship. In 5 years he won 11 World Championships. Rob Van Dam won the Money in the Bank towards the end of his career, sending him off with 2 World Championships (the WWE and ECW Championship). CM Punk won twice in a row and has won 3 World Heavyweight Championships. Jack Swagger unexpectedly won and had an imediate push, then it ended in a flop. Kane winning I'll ignore because that's different. The Miz has probably had the biggest push since winning Money in the Bank. Over 3 or 4 months he built so much heat and interest, when he eventually cashed it in, he was the biggest heel the company had.

Here are my picks:
RAW - Dolph Ziggler
Realistically, it should be John Morrison, however, no backstage heat included, Dolph looks like he is more popular with WWE than John Morrison. So, Dolph will win, but, I don't think he will win the Championship. He will be the first failure.

SmackDown - Christian
Christian will probably lose the vacant World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match against Alberto Del Rio, then, he will face him at Over the Limit and Capitol Punishment. At Money in the Bank, Del Rio will defend against someone else and Christian will win the Money in the Bank. Christian will cash in against Del Rio.

Winning these matches can boost your career to terrifying heights.

Its a long shot here...But Zack Ryder??
All the superstars are starting to notice Ryder, at times for his ring in Work, but 'Z-Long Island True Story'...Its a hit...WWE like hits...WWE Like Money...Ryder would get more fans and more air time...So this is one i want to happen
BUT, Unfortunatly More Realistically, like everyone said, Morrison and Ziggler for Raw, and Kofi, Any of the Corre, and possibilly Cody Rhodes for SD!...But you have to wait for the Draft to get any real idea...I'm Just Sayin...

Smackdown need this more then Raw right now coz there so thin on talent its crazy.
The only big stars on SD atm are Kane,Del Rio,Mysterio,Christian and Big Show. I say they let Kofi win and take the title hes a star waiting to happen,If not Drew or Cody. As for Raw I agree either Morrison or Mr Ziggles

Well, it all depends on the draft and the feuds happening. I can NOT see Christian or Del Rio winning the briefcase because of their feud which i think could be a while. Anyways, here's my contenders. On RAW, there's John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler and maybe 2 darkhorse canadiates, like Daniel Bryan or R-Truth, but i think Ziggler or Morrison win it and beats Miz, and yes, i could see Ziggler beat Miz even with both as heels.

As for Smackdown, there's alot of canadiates including Kofi Kingston (who i think should also be in a feud with Del Rio if he wins at Extreme Rules), Wade Barrett, BUT i REALLY want to see Cody Rhodes win the briefcase and get the title shot.

i would love to see drew mcintrye to win the briefcase!!! It would be out of nowhere and would finally be the big push he needs to be the main even superstar he was brought in to be!! I can see him cashing it in the next tuesday on smackdown on the champion that successfully defended the belt at Money in the Bank. Unlike Swagger i hope to see Drew get a long run with the gold and hopefully put some prestige back in the title. With Morrison or Ziggler i see the belt getting weaker due to both men not really being World HeavyWeight Championship material. Dont get me wrong there awesome talent and deserve a run in their future, but id like to see the surprise where Drew wins the briefcase, shocks everyone, cashes it in on Smackdown; shock everyone again!!!!, then goes on to face guys like Morrison, Ziggler, and such and beating them down thus giving the title a more honorable desirable championship!!!! Sounds good in my head haha! i wanna see Drew win!!!!!

With the roll he's been on lately, on Smackdown's side, I would have to say Cody Rhodes. I think the kid has all that it takes to be a success in the WWE and with a WrestleMania win over a 2x World Champion in just his second WM in the WWE, I can definitely see COdy Rhodes with the WHC or even the WWE Championship if it's on Smackdown after the draft.

As for Raw's MITB, I would say give it to a face. Someone like Daniel Bryan or R-Truth who can cash it in with an actual match instead of an after match cash in. I'm just saying, it would be nice to see an RVD style cash in.

I say John Morrison will be the first person to FAIL at cashing it in, I think this would be Vince's way of saying "Next time go along with what is planned and don't bitch about it" then have him win the Royal Rumble

but on the other side of the table I see the LOSER of the Alberto Del Rio-Christian ladder match. I could really see Christian doing it like RVD did and build up a match to it at SummerSlam

but i'm not sleeping on Dolph Ziggler or Wade Barrett either

Raw MITB goes to John Morrison.

I feel that the feud between him and Miz is brewing. Could they feud at Summerslam possibly, however once this Melina and Trish backstage heat goes away he will be in line for something. He has shown he is great in situations that can invovle athletisicm and he would be great in the match. I think this could either hurt or help him based on how is title reign is, if he even wins.

Smackdown MITB
Randy Orton. I don't know why in my head I feel he will win it maybe its because I see him going to Smackdown in the draft. I don't know however I feel that he could be a canidate to win it considering he has been losing and winning back and forth for the year and it would make sense for him to hokd MITB.

Last year imo, Money in the Bank stole the year as the best WWE pay per view. The booking and decisions made were spot on, the show was unpredictable, exciting, and breathtaking. There wasn't a single bad match on the show and I'm pumped for it this year for it officially begins the rode to Summerslam.

heres what i would do :

RAW MitB : CM Punk Vs John Cena Vs Randy Orton Vs John Morrison Vs Alex Riley Vs Dolph Ziggler Vs Sheamus Vs Daniel Bryan. Winner : Dolph Ziggler, lets face it, the MitB ladder match is supposed to build up new stars, and Dolph is the only one whose credible enough to finally rise to the top, Morrison has alot of heat on him so hes not getting anywhere in the future and even if Dolph isnt ready he has a whole year to get over with the crowd, plus as you can see by my pic im a huge Ziggler mark

SD MitB : Kofi Kingston Vs Chris Masters Vs Jack Swagger Vs Kane Vs Big Show Vs Rey Mysterio Vs Cody Rhodes Vs Drew McIntyre. Winner : Kofi Kingston : same reason as Ziggler though I think Kofi is already over ever since his push against Orton in 2009 but hes been jobbing alot recently and this big win would help get him to the top level of the WWE's new generation, not the top guy, but one of them

WWE Title : The Miz Vs R-Truth. Winner : The Miz : now this would be a great opportunity for The Miz to finally defend his title cleanly and look like a credible champ, and what better way to do it then beat a guy who has been on a roll recently, R-Truth

World Heavyweight Title : Christian Vs Alberto Del Rio Vs Wade Barrett. Winner : Christian : now whether or not Christian wins the title at Extreme Rules i would still love to see him beat two of Smackdown's top heels in a 3 way, it would be a great way to make him look like the brand's new top babyface and lets face it, he deserves it

Street Fight : Jerry Lawler Vs Michael Cole : this rivalry is far from over unfortunately so a match between them at MitB should happen, this time with Cole getting the ass whooping that he deserves and what better way to do that than a street fight?

Six Man Tag : Ezekiel Jackson, Justin Gabriel, and Heath Slater(The Corre) Vs Evan Bourne, Sin Cara, and Santino Marrella : Winners : Bourne, Cara, and Santino : this would be a great way to make Sin Cara look credible and make him look like a leader by getting his team the win, besides, who wouldnt wanna see Santino?

Raw MiTB: Morrison, Ziggler, Cena, Orton, Sheamus, Evan Bourne, R-Truth, Daniel Bryan
I have multiple ways for this to go. I personally want Morrison to win, but be the first person to lose when cashing in. Not to hate on him, but to help push him even farther. Then whenever its finally built up, him winning the title is huge. Oh and he'd cash in like RVD did. OR he and Ziggler both grab the case and fall together, and we have a tie. Sets up a Ziggler vs. Morrison fued where they can ACTUALLY FIGHT one on one.

Smackdown MitB: Kofi, Wade Barrett, Swagger, Kane, Big Show, Cody Rhodes, Mysterio, Drew McIntyre.
The winner is Drew McIntyre. I personally liked his "chosen one" routine, even if the stuff with him and Teddy Long was drawn out IMO. This would only add to it. I'd like to see what he could do with a serious push, not him vs. Fatt Hardy.

WWE Championship: Miz vs. CM Punk. I know its heel vs. heel, but its what seems the most fan favorite heel vs the most fan favorite heel. Everyone loves Punk, and a lot of people like The Miz. I think it would be very interesting to see how it plays out, plus if they use the Nexus angle that would make the heel vs heel matchup a little more interesting. Punk just doing whatever he can to be champ. And I believe he could put Miz over in a big way with The Miz winning again.

WHC: Christian vs. Alberto Del Rio (champion) w/special guest referee Edge (who doesn't take any bumps). This would just be a fan favorite match pretty much, especially to counter the previous heel vs heel match up. Christian wins.

Tag Championships: Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater vs. Sin Cara and Santino. Corre retains.

WWE title match- Miz vs Orton- I know its been done before but it can be done again after Orton is done with Nexus. Miz retains

WHC title match- Christian vs Del Rio vs Big Show vs Kane- Smackdown usually rotates with Show and Kane in the title mix. Del Rio wins.

RAW MITB- Daniel Bryan vs Zack Ryder vs Evan Bourne vs John Morrison vs Ziggler vs Punk vs Cena vs Sin Cara- Have Cena take a mediocre bump and be "knocked out or hurt" the rest of the match you cant risk him getting hurt. Ziggler wins.

SD MITB- Rhodes vs Mysterio vs Kofi vs Swagger vs Mcintyre vs Barrett vs Reks vs Masters- Rhodes wins. I love his gimmick right now.

US Title- Sheamus vs R Truth- R Truth wins, Sheamus goes back to upper mid card/main event. Could be a solid match up.

6 man tag- Slater,Jackson,Gabriel vs Kozlov,Santino and Goldust. Corre Wins.

WWE Title match: Randy Orton vs. CM Punk.It's easily the best wrestling feud in the WWE right now,they might as well raise the stakes for it before it gets stale.Orton retains after an RKO to Punk.Nexus interferes.Orton lays broken.Cena runs in with the briefcase,cashes it in and wins the WWE title.

World Heavyweight Championship match: Christian vs. Del Rio.This feud can easily last all the way until July.Del Rio retains the title.

Smackdown MITB match: Cody Rhodes vs. Wade Barrett vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Masters vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Jack Swagger vs. Justin Gabriel.The reason for having Gabriel and Barrett in the match is because as we saw on Monday,there seems to be cracks in the Corre,it's gotta reach boiling point within the next few months,and Gabriel seems to be the first guy that stood up to Barrett.Besides,Gabriel can do some impressive spots in the ladder match.I'd have Cody Rhodes win the match.

Raw MITB: John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Evan Bourne vs. The Miz vs. Sin Cara vs. John Cena vs. R-Truth.I'm not sure if I want Ziggler to win it or Cena to win it.If Cena wins it I'll have him cash it in after the WWE title match later that night to plant the seeds for a heel turn in the near future.

US Title match: Sheamus vs. Triple H.There's no reason to leave this feud hanging.It just pisses me off because it was one of the more intriguing feuds last year before it was abruptly brought to an end.

Tag Team title match: Ezekiel Jackson and Heath Slater vs. Big Show and Kane.Zeke is the only threat to Big Show and Kane.I'll have Gabriel qualifying for the MITB match,and have the rest of the Corre come out and force him to give the tag team title belt to Zeke if he wants to compete in the match.Corre retains

Divas Title match: Idk...Awesome Kong vs. The Bella Twins in a handicap match?Kong squashes the twins,obviously.

One of the winners is very obvious to me. I think, if he's returned by then, Chris Jericho wins one of the MITB briefcases.

He came up with the MITB concept and I've always wondered why he didn't win it.

I think this is the year that Jericho finally wins the match he created.

Money In The Bank 2011

WWE Smackdown Money In The Bank Match
My pick would have to be Cody Rhodes. He really proved himself at Wrestlemania. His new Charactor is the kind of Superstar that we would see holding the World Championship over his shoulder. Although the World Title would look massive on Cody Rhodes but if he could somehow win the Bank ladder match, especially if it was him and Mysterio as the last two climbing, Cody could knock him off and grab the case and thats your new Money In The Bank.

WWE Raw Money In The Bank Match
My pick would have to be CM Punk. With CM Punks new charactor, it's like a whole new Superstar. A WWE Championship match is in the future for CM punk. If WWE Could dissolve Nexus between now and then, have a whole Nexus Money in the bank. Maybe throw in Randy Orton and R-Truth, but have Punk pull of the victory and cash in on the same night with the help of Nexus who have rejoined Punk. That way Nexus would be the top Heel Faction in the WWE and they would have the WWE Championship.

But I agree with somebodys comment. A Money In The Bank will get cashed in but the Champion will retain. It hasn't happened at all yet. So WWE could shock us.

RAW: I see Dolph Ziggler winning it. Out of all the midcarders today, he's the closest to the main event. He had a World Title match with Edge already and well erm "won" the title already and like Miz mentioned already on Raw, Ziggler was the only person in the gauntlet who hasn't faced him yet, so if Miz is to turn baybface in the future and is still champion by Money in the Bank, I can see Ziggler face him for the title. Or if Cena is champ by then, then I pick CM Punk so he could cash it in on Cena later that night or the next night, win the title from him and begin the Cena - Punk feud over the title for Summerslam.

SMACKDOWN: Hard to say cause I believe the draft is around this time, Wade Barrett already was in the main event and failed to prove he was main event material, so it won't be him, I would say Kofi Kingston or Sin Cara but they don't have main event written on them either cause of their styles & promo skills, so if they were to win, I believe they would be the first MiTB winners to lose. I say Kofi though cause he's been there a long time & hasn't had a shot yet and even though Cara is new, if Alberto Del Rio was champ which I do believe he will be, I could see WWE booking Cara vs. Del Rio for the title for the mexican fanbase.

I'm gonna say Cody Rhodes. They are trying to push him, and I think that they'll continue to try and push him. I see him winning it, then losing when he cashes it in, but fueds with the champ after that.
