I'd go with the Ladder Match DVD I got both of them and I've watched the Ladder match dvd far more times then I've watched WM23, the Benoit/MVP match is decent but not best reason to get WM23, I could live without it

I'm really debating on what to get; the ladder match DVD or the WrestleMania 23 DVD box set. Of course w/out hesitation I'd pick the Ladder Match over WM 23, however I saw that the WWE is continue producing/releasing WM 23 DVD sets but the newer ones has Benoit/MVP removed which I still want to get the original copy while it's still in some stores.

The only problem here is.. if W.W.E. is recalling the WM 23 sets & reproducing them without the Benoit/MVP match, wouldn't they do the same with the Ladder Match DVD & recall ALL the Benoit Ladder matches.. which would take away some of the better matches on the DVD.. you're talking about taking away Benoit/Jericho in the TLC 4 match, the original MITB match, Benoit v. Jericho, & I think there might be another.. but I'm not sure (without checking)

I mean, if I had to give up one or the other.. WM 23 wouldn't even be a thought to get. The Ladder match has tons of replay value.. & far too many matches to lose if the Benoit issue comes into play.

Undertaker: 15-0

This Walmart Exclusive DVD, ugh, highlights the thing that I feel has become bigger then Wrestlemania itself, the Streak. No other streak in the history of this business compares to the Undertaker at Wrestlemania. Goldberg's 172-0, pshh forget about it, 15-0 at Mania pwns that.

Now I'm not getting into match detail, just the DVD itself.

For starters, don't take the back of the box worth a shit. It says filled with interviews, there are no interviews. It's a 3 hour DVD with highlights, yes, highlights of some matches.

Here are the full matches.

vs. Jimmy Snuka WM 7
vs. Jake the Snake Roberts WM 8
vs. The Giant Gonzalez WM 9
vs. King Kong Bundy WM 11
vs. Big Boss Man (Hell in the Cell) WM 15
vs. A-Train and the Big Show WM 19
vs. Mark Henry (Casket Match) WM 22
vs. Batista (WHC) WM 23

The Rest of the matches are joined about half way through, and are complete from that point on.

For me, I would much rather this be a two disc set with entire matches. Sure, the Undertaker's matches at Wrestlemania aren't the greatest, mostly due to opponents and not him, but the names themselves are worthy. The list of victims is impressive as all hell.

Look at Guys that Taker has defeated that were involved in the main events at Mania

Snuka, Bundy, Sid, Kevin Nash, Triple H, Big Show and Batista.

Former World Champs include
Nash, Sid, Kane (2), Triple H, Flair, Show, Orton and Batista.

Scoff at some of the matches, but there is no doubt that the Undertaker usually brings his best to Wrestlemania.

There are no extras to this DVD, so if you're looking for that, you'll be disappointed. It's a pretty straightforward DVD. If you are an Undertaker fan like moi then it is a must have. I really recommend this DVD to younger fans so they can appreciate the evolution of this guy over the years. I love watching the first Wrestlemania's with him in it. Sure he's slow, but he's good in that ring even back then. Plus, I can listen to Heenan and Monsson on commentary all day.

Plus, something tells me the WWE may actually be considering ending the streak this year at Wrestlemania. Why make this DVD if you are not considering it? Who wants a 15-0 DVD when in 5 years I could by a 20-0 Special Edition. After watching this, I won't be shocked if it happens.

Anyways, I recommend the DVD. I think Old Schoolers will appreciate it more, simply because it's a way to relive some of this stuff.

Coming Soon: Rey Mysterio the Biggest Little Man.

No chance. They'll just bring out another DVD. They know that fans will buy it. Hell, there releasing a career perspective on John Cena in a few months. And he's got another 10-15 years left in his career.

Onece a DVD has been released then there usually forgottyen about pretty quickly. Once they've left the chart then the intrest in them is gone.

On a side not. the World Class DVD is supposed to be shit. Apparently they hardly talk about drugs at all. WTF? It's a Von Erich DVD.

Ill be reviewing a few DVDs after my Exams are over I am collecting them up for now and then going to go through and watch them all. But here the ones Im going to review anyway.

-Andre The Giant
-Stealing Life, Cheating Death: The Eddie Guerrero Story
-Hard Knocks: The Chris Benoit Story
-Bret "Hitman" Hart

Ive already seen it but I may as well review it again. I think the Andre one is the one Sly mentioned. I just got it, it was a toss up on either this one, the Ric Flair one or the Jake the Snake one. Ill get the others at some other time when I go back to that store.

Big Will's official review of Rey Mysterio: The Biggest Little Man

First, I want to note two things.
1. I have NOT watched the entire thing, so I don't know the full story Rey unfolds for everyone.

2. W.W.E. seriously needs to check things before putting them into production. I don't know if its the same on all of them, but if you look in the index card of the discs/matches.. it lists, the match between Mysterio v. Eddie Guerrero at Halloween HOUSE?! Also, in connection with that.. they don't spell Chavo or Eddie's last name "GuerrerO" they spell it "Guerrera" (which would unofficially make people who don't know, place a connection with Eddie & Chavo to Juvi)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now then, my overall complaint on this DVD is the list of matches they give. I won't run them all down, unless someone asks for a list.. but I could basically sum them up in saying its a 29 match, 3 disc set.. that features 80% of the matches with Rey Mysterio v. Dean Malenko, (3) Chavo Guerrero, (4) & Eddie Guerrero, (4, 5 counting Tag) With double matches of Mysterio v. Ultimo Dragon, Psicosis & Juventud Guerrera. All those in themselves are 18 of the 29 matches.

Secondly, while I'm positive that each are definately worth being placed on here. The mere fact that this DVD does NOT showcase Mysterio's best matches is a tribute to W.W.E. pushing the talent they want you to see pushed.

No where on this DVD (that I've seen yet) does it show Rey Mysterio v. Konnan (from Road Wild 97) or ANY of the classic matches Mysterio & Billy Kidman put on. It (that I've seen thus far) will also cut off Mysterio's career in W.C.W. with him remaining in the mask.. which I get, but is bogus when explaining his career, none the less.

Now then, if you're going to push this as him being up against "bigger men" & you showcase the matches he's had against Kurt Angle.. why would you show the match at Summerslam in which that had a botched finish, not to mention Angle winning? When they could've easily shown the Smackdown version with Mysterio picking up the win. (With, the key -- help from Chris Benoit, who is ALSO nowhere to be found on this DVD)

My final complaint is that they didn't showcase more of his W.C.W. career, in which he had several great matches, including the missed ones with William Regal.

All that was basically my negative side of the DVD set. Now, this would be my positive.

The DVD is packed with tons of great matches. Same people or not, Mysterio deserves the pass just because each match, while may seem the same.. constantly has different stuff in it, that warrents it being on the DVD.

This DVD reminds me of the Mick Foley "Hard Knocks/Cheap Pops" DVD, in which Mysterio is talking about his career in between introducing the next match. I love that, & hate that. I love it, because it allows you to fit more matches into the whole set. I hate it, because I'm a huge fan of the background story & especially when its more or less a career look-back type of thing. (Maybe I'm missing the fact that this DVD could quite possibly NOT be a career thing?)

Overall Rating: 8/10: I rated it an 8 because while I'm upset with how the whole thing was unofficially slapped together, & a lot of great matches were left out for a lot of repeat type matches with the same Superstars.. Its really hard to argue with Mysterio having a terrible match, & every single match on this DVD is a top quality match in one way or another.

Best Match: Mysterio v. Malenko (Great American Bash 96)
Disappointing Match: Guerrero/Mysterio v. Bashams (No Way Out 05)
Surprise Match: Mysterio v. Super Calo (Fall Brawl 96)

An interesting note of fact that I (just) read on wwe.com regarding the John Cena "My Life" DVD..

It apparently will be a 2-disc set, that ONLY features.. (ready?) SEVEN MATCHES! So much for this DVD being his feature " early career" DVD.

Apparently this DVD is suppose to highlight the behind-the-scenes life that John Cena lives. How he "climbed to greatness" so quickly. It'll feature tons of interviews, promos, segments, & a lot of general "BS" with only 7 matches. (It should be noted, it claims the 2nd disc features 7 matches. Perhaps the first one will have more?)

Overall, it shocks me just because W.W.E. wants to push Cena as being this "great wrestler" (which he does have talent) however they turn around & aren't even giving this DVD 10 matches. Thats pathetic. Hell, I think his first DVD had more than 7 matches. Are they trying to say he hasn't had over that many great matches from the first DVD to this one?!

ALSO, the Shawn Michaels: Heartbreak & Triumph DVD will only be 2-discs, instead of the rumored 3.

I think that personally sucks, since this DVD IS suppose to be a look back at H.B.K.'s entire career. (unless thats now rumor too) It'll highlight some of his matches with Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Triple H., John Cena, & more.

Honestly, I want the match-up with him versus British Bulldog, from the European "One Night Only" p.p.v. - also perhaps the Survivor Series 97 screw job against Bret Hart. (no offense, but I'm tired of seeing the Iron Man match being the only one of those two highlighted in everything.)

Will, just to clarify, I got the No Mercy DVD yesterday, and the preview has both the Michaels DVD and Cena DVD at 3 discs a piece. I would imagine the website is wrong, but hey, Rey Mysterio wrestled Eddie Guerrera at Halloween House in 1997, so who knows who is wrong. A 3 Disc Cena set, well, at least people will see how enjoyably he was to watch before he became WWE Champ. This guy is great at being a heel and chasing, but stale as 3 week old bread when it comes to cutting promos as champion.

Now, I finished the Rey Rey DVD, and I must say, this was just a bad ass compilation of matches. The first 2 disc of WCW were solid, while the WWE disc was, blah. I'll do a full review later on.

Stay Tuned, Shocky goes off on Eddie Guerrero, the WWE, Chris Benoit, and X-Division Marks during his scathing review of the Rey Mysterio Biggest Little Man DVD.

Yeah, I remember Eddie Guerrero v. Rey Mysterio at a Halloween Havoc, & thou the match looked really similar.. almost to a tee, I'm glad I bought the DVD for that match, just because I don't remember Halloween House. lol Its a shame W.C.W. couldn't find a ring mat, or apron to use for their "Halloween House" so they had to use their Havoc one instead.. really low-key on production, in my opinion.

Also, I can only hope on the H.B.K. DVD being 3-Discs. I also hope they do him justice, because I won't be able to stand it, if they screw up his career DVD.

From what I read though, the Cena DVD is nothing but 7 matches, & a lot of promos & behind the scenes stuff on his movie, c.d. & everything else, NOT related to wrestling. Overall.. I can't see it being worth $15.00-$20.00.

Yeah, honestly I had hoped for more from his W.C.W./E.C.W. days. I can understand the E.C.W. one, as I assume those were the only two he truly wrestled.. but his W.C.W. review was crap. They missed so many great matches. Starrcade 98, Mysterio v. Juvi v. Kidman.. honestly, they're willing to show him lose to Angle, in a botched ending.. but they won't show him losing to other cruiserweights, like Kidman.

And while every match he's had with Eddie & Chavo are classics.. I don't need them ALL to be on this DVD. They should've just called it the "Mysterio v. Guerrero Family collection."

Thanks for the DVD reviews and info guys, this is a really cool thread.

Personally the Ladder Match DVD is my all time favourite, closely followed by Cheating Death; Stealing Life, Eddie Guerrrero Story (the title of which is so ironic I have to hide the DVD box from sight) and Shawn Michaels; From The Vault.

I am personally really anticipating The Heartbreak and Thriumph, this is what the official speil on Silvervision says:

"He’s the Heartbreak Kid; the Showstopper. For more than two decades, Shawn Michaels has had amazing matches inside the ring and controversial moments outside the ring. Now, for the first time on DVD, fans can see the whole story, from the Rockers through D-Generation X and the clique and Montreal Screwjob along the way. This 3-disc DVD set collects some of Shawn’s greatest matches, including many never before available on DVD.

Even though this is a much older DVD set, I just got The Best Of RAW Volumes 1&2 DVD set in the mail today. I originally purchased the DVD set when it was still in stores new for a cheap price until it got stolen and the DVD set is very rare which it's going for around $40 on Amazon and eBay.

It covers the top storylines of the WWE from late 1997 - late 1998 (disk 1) plus many extras including some good matches and promos. Disk 2 covers late 1998 - late 1999 which concluded prior to the McMahon-Helmsley era with a lot of matches and promos in the extras. It was definitely worth $40 IMO. Really brings back many great memories from the greatest years in WWE history.

Rey-Mysterio-Photograph-C12233391.jpeg

Here is my Chapter by Chapter, in depth analysis of Rey Mysterio, the Biggest Little Man, much overdue.

Disc 1.
Overview. Here is the real meat and bones of Rey Mysterio. This is the young kid that came from mexico and shook the foundation of American Wrestling. The cruiserweights were getting over, thanks to guys like Brian Pillman and Jushin Liger, but with Rey Mysterio, he was simply eye candy. The moves he pulled off, he didn't botch. The guy was a daredevil and a risk taker before his times, and you have to remember, he was a very very young man when he started to get into some big time situations. This first disc is very good with highlighting his early career. Plus an added bonus, Vintage Mike Tenay on commentary in a lot of these matches. Tenay was so damn good when he wanted to be, so hopefully newer fans will listen to this and appreciate how damn good he was.

Chapter 1: When Worlds Collide: Latin Lover, Heavy Metal, & Rey Mysterio vs. Madonna's Boyfriend (Louie Spicolli), Fuerza Guerrera, and Psicosis.

An Interesting Match to say the least. A very young Mysterio and Psicosis kind of take a back seat to the others in the match. Rey hits some big moves, but isn't the focal point of the match. I think it's hilarious with Louie Spicolli under the name of Madonna's Boyfriend. A good six man tag match, worth getting, especially since Its been years since I've seen a Latin Lover or Heavy Metal match.

2. Lucha Libre Becomes Extreme:
Pretty much a quick mentioning of Paul Heyman being in attendance at the World's Collide show. Paul decides to offer Rey Rey and Psicosis an opportunity to perform in ECW, and the rest is history.

3. ECW Hardcore TV: Rey Mysterio vs. Psicosis.
Meh, this match was good, but not their best. The other two matches they've released on the ECW DVD's are better. I believe that this was the only one not released yet by the WWE, so now you will have all three.

4. Hardcore TV: Rey Mysterio vs. Juventud Guerrera.
A damn good match. Some nice moves althroughout. I never knew that Guerrera was in ECW, good to be proven wrong. The Juice's ego is so damn big, it's a shame, because the guys talent level is ridiculous.

5. Small Fish in a Big Pond.
Rey talks about how it was time to take the next big step in his career. He wanted to bring Lucha Libre to the states, and he knew it was going to be a big challenge. He felt comfortable with the other cruiserweights though, but knew he still needed to prove himself.

6. Great American Bash 96: Rey Mysterio vs. Dean Malenko
Dean Malenko retains his WCW Cruiserweight championship in one helluva 17 minute match. The contrasting styles is what makes this match so enjoyable to watch. Once you think Mysterio gets a good advantage, Malenko grounds and pounds him. Malenko gets the cheating victory, but the crowd unmistakably has made Mysterio a star.

7. WCW Nitro
Rey Mysterio defeats Dean Malenko for the WCW Cruiserweight title. Not their best matchup, but easily an enjoyable one. People call Malenko a vanilla midget, shit, there is no one in the WWE locker room that could lace Dean Malenkos boots, and that is a FACT.

8. Hog Wild: Mysterio vs. Ultimo Dragon
I believe that this was Dragon's first big match in WCW, could be wrong. I hated Hog Wild, the set up was so god awful. The ring and surrounding area was set about 10 feet above the ground, so no moves to the outside of the ring without risking serious injury. Not a bad match, with Mysterio retaining.

9. Fall Brawl: vs. Super Calo
Woah, talk about a hidden fucking gem, this right here maybe the match of the DVD, and that's not an exageration. Super Calo flat out can go, I forgot how good he was. Rey Mysterio and Calo do some crazy maneuvers in this match. The highlight is the ending. Misterio utilizes the double ring of Fall Brawl, Springs off one set of ropes, to another, and then hits a Hurricanrana to win the match. Holy shit what a move.

10. Halloween Havoc: vs. Dean Malenko
Wrestling purist, there still is a wrestling god. Dean Malenko in three matches on one disc, wrestling is still worth watching. Probably their best matchup, at least on this set. Mysterios initial run in WCW begins to whine down, and WCW begins to book him as a tough as nails kid, but certainly beatable. Here Malenko makes him tap in a very good match.

11. Big Fish in a Small Pond. Mysterio pretty much goes on about being a goal to steal the show every night, nothing too great.

12. Starrcade: vs. Jushin Thunder Liger
Liger is amazing. I think he was coming back off of some form of back surgery, and this was his first big match. He was more heavy then what we were used to, but still able to steal the show that night. Him and Mysterio go back and forth, with Liger winning with the Liger bomb. Also, this was my first WCW pay per view that I bought, and this was easily the best match of the night.

13. Spring Stampede 97 vs. Ultimo Dragon
Mysterio takes a couple month hiatus from pay per view, and returns with an opening bout would be show stealer. I say that, because DDP and Savage saved the night later on with their main event. A very good matchup here with Mysterio walking away the victor.

more to come...

This set was something I was incredibly intresting is watching. Although I've heard rumours that it isn't any good. Not bad. But they don't go into any detail. Which makes this DVD pointless. If they aren't going to give an in depth lookk at the Von Erich deaths or all the drug use then what is the point? I'll give my opinion oin the disc once I've seen it, but this sounds like a missed oppertunity to me.

WWE1186_L.JPG

Now this is a set. This is something to look forward to. I've seen most of the matches and angles numerous times. But it would still be nice to have them all in the same DVD. Some of the matches look good too. I haven't seen the Flair/Perfect match since it happened. Back then I was surprised that Flair lost. Not knowing any inside info at the time. Not much New And Improved D-X which is great. Only problem is that I want to see a definative Monday Night wars DVD, this uses up the majority of the material.

Do you have an entire match listing for what will all be on this DVD set? Also, is it multiple discs, & how many hours total? I'd hope it could be like 9-10 hours, with loads of matches. Maybe 10 matches from each year? That'd be what though.. 150 matches, yeah.. nevermind.. it'd be sweet, but way too unrealistic.

I looked on WWE.com, and it said it's a 3 disc set(that seems to be the magic number with them and DVD sets lately), but they didn't have a match listing, I'd like to see one though, curious to see what all matches it will have, as that will be the big selling point for me

I'm sold on almost anything 3-Disc wise. (John Cena excluded, as I don't have passion for wanting to watch tons of footage of him rapping & trying to act)

I don't see how this couldn't be a great DVD with jam-packed matches, but it could end up being an "all-talking" DVD, with like 10 matches.. all from the past 3 yrs. THAT WOULD SUCK!

I'm sure they'll focus on the main feuds that happened through the beginning years, & as Jake pointed out.. the Ric Flair/Mr. Perfect: Loser Leaves Raw match. I can't help but believe the John Cena/Shawn Michaels 1-hour match will likely see daylight on this DVD.

I'd love to see tons of matches from 1993-1997, more than after that.. although some of the best (longer) matches happened after that, as they were only a one hour show through that time line. They hit 2 hours in 1997, I believe.

Thats another reason why I'd see it as easy to fit over 30-40 matches on this DVD, as most of the matches wouldn't be longer than 10-15 minutes.

My only problem is that the Lita vs Trish Main event isn't on there. But the DVD does look good and could be a big buy. I can't believe Kurt Angle is mentioned on it because of how he left the company and went straight to TNA, but i am glad he is and also Owen hart, and Bret Hart for that matter, and the Mean Street Posse will make this DVD worth it..... J/K, and i believe it is set too come out the Day after Christmas.

When I look at that line-up, I see maybe 15 matches. And it makes me wonder, selective things.. they don't "say" versus, like in the match type format.. so I'm curious if this entire 3-Disc DVD is one huge "recap" & that the matches they have, aren't even in their entire length.

Like, it says "Mankind wins the Championship" does that mean the match? Or the highlights from it? And the same goes for "Jericho not the new Champion." Will it show his match against Triple H., or just a recap of it "never happening."

That's what I was wondering, just looks like the list of DVD chapters for the main feature, I gotta think they would have more matches than that, to be honest if that's what it is, then I most likely won't buy it, at least not right away, I'd wait till I can find a used copy for $10-$12, that's how I buy most of my WWE DVDs anymore anyways

The Best of RAW XV DVD set looks good. I'm imagining that this will be like the original "Best Of RAW" DVD's with a documentary covering the highlights of the time period the DVD is focusing on (which in this set, it's on the entire 15 years) and include many segments and matches as extras. I'm excited to purchase this set.

Royal Rumble Anthology Set:

Definitely a great idea to make a DVD out of this. It is the beginning of the Road to Wrestlemania and has proven to be the biggest pay per view besides Wrestlemania. The Royal Rumbles have truly been great and have started great rivalries and ended huge rivalries. It has even started the main event road for superstars.

1988: Hogan and Andre furthered their rivalry by signing a contract for Wrestlemania 4. The Rude Steamboat match is definitely worth a watch and the Royal Rumble is just being born. Definitely still in its infancy as this wasn't even a pay per view yet but worth a watch to see the very first Rumble.

1989:The Rumble finally makes it to pay per view. Big John Studd won the Rumble even though he did nothing to win the match. But the Rumble win still mean nothing. Hogan/ Savage rivalry was furthered. And the 2 out f 3 Falls match is definitely a match to watch.

1990: Definitely one of the better Rumbles. This was the start of the Hogan/ Warrior match for Wrestlemania with Hogan winnig the Rumble. Again the Rumble meant nothing in terms of a main event but definitely great.

1991: The opening match between the Rockers and the Orient Express was freaking great in my opinion and was 20 minutes. Wow, nowadays we get a 5 minute opener. The big shocker was seeing Warrior lose the title to Sgt. Slaughter because of Savage. Sets up their match for Wrestlemania. Hogan again wins the Rumble.

1992:One of the best if not the best Royal Rumble. It finally was worth something and that being the Title. Flair was great in the match and won. Everything else was ok and a somewhat memorable win by Roddy Piper to gain the IC Title.

1993:An okay Rumble. Hart and Ramon title match was ok. And the Jannety/Michaels match was amazing. Yokozuna looked great in the Rumble as he went on to win in a stupid way.

1994: Definitely an interesting Rumble. We saw Owen Hart turn on his brother Bret. We then later saw Hart and Luger both win the Rumble creating controversy. We also saw the Undertaker lose his casket match and then being reborn. Kind of overdon but okayy.

1995:A good Rumble. We saw Shawn finally win the Rumble at the number one entrant as well. The Hart/Diesel match was okay and it was definitely more agressive. We also saw the beginning of the stpuid LT/ Bam Bam Bigelow feud.

1996:We saw Shawn win the Rumble again. In the match we saw the debut of Vader and his confrontation with Yokozuna. Jake the Sanke also returned in this match. The title match between Undertaker and Bret Hart was also good but not as well as their Summerslam match a year later.

1997:Shawn Michaels again wins the title in his hometown in an okay match. The Undertaker/Vader match was okay and so was Goldust and HHH. The Rumble was pretty good featuring the win of Austin's first Rumble starting his feud with Bret Hart.

1998:One of the best Rumbles in my opinion. You had an interesting match with Vader and Goldust with and awesome Vader Bomb. The Rumble was entertainging with Austin winning again sending him to face Shawn, Mick Foley coming in as all three personas, Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie fighting as well. The IC Title match was okay. The Casket Match was the best Casket match and this was when Shawn broke his back and the start of the Kane/Undertaker feud.

1999:This was a below average Rumble. Everything besides the Rumgble and the Title match was poor. The Rumble was highly entertaining with Austin and McMahons first fight with Vince winning the whole Rumble. The I Quit Match was amazing between FOley and the Rock.

2000:One of the worst Rumble. Taz made his debut in an average match against Angle. The first ever Tag Team Tables match featured the Dudleys and the Hardyz. It was pretty good. The Street Fight between Cactus Jack and Triple H is amazing. The Rumble itself was one of the worst with only the Rock and Big Show being big names in the match.

2001:One of the best Rumbles as well. The opening tag team match is okay and we see the Dudleys take the titles. The Ladder Match between Benoit and Jericho is great and one of the better Ladder Matches. We see Chyna aggrovate her neck again. The match between Triple H and Angle for the title was great as well. The Rumble featured Drew Carrey, Kane absolutely domintaing, and Austin winning his third Rumble. It was a great Rumble.

2002:The Street Fight between McMahon and Flair was great and bloody. You can always depend on McMahon. The Undisputed Championship match between the Rock and Jericho was great as well. The Rumble was pretty good as we saw Triple H return, Austin dominate yet again, Mr. Perfect return, and Maven shockingly eliminate the Undertaker. The last ten minutes of the Rumble though are great.

2003:The worst Rumble to date. Lesnar and Big Show fighting wasn't good at all. The Dawn Marie and Torrie match was an absolute stinker. Scott Steiner amd Triple H put on one of the worst matches in Royal Rumble history for the WHC belt. Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit put on a classic match for the WWE Title. The Rumble itself was okay. Some good parts were Jericho's performance, Jeff fighting Matt, Edge and Mysterio's performance, and the storyline between Jericho and HBK continuing.

2004:An above average Rumble. The Tables match was okay yet not enough Tables were used. The Cruiserweight match was good even though it was not given enough time. The Guerrero/Guerrero match was pretty good but again was not given enough time. The WWE Championship match was below average. The Last Man Standing match for the World Heayweight title was amazing and brutal. The Rumble itself was okay and featured Benoit drawing number one and winning, Mick Foley returning, Goldberg and Lesnar continuing their feud, and a sign of Undertaker returning as the Deadman.

2005:This is a great Rumble. The opening match between Edge and Michaels was great. The Casket Match was pretty fun. Triple Threat for the WWE Title was great and fun to watch. The WHC title match was average. The Rumble was pretty good as we saw Edge dominate as well as Benoit and Mysterio, Vince McMahon pooping his quads,Angle and HBK starting their dream feud, and Batista and Cena rise to the top.

2006:A poor Royal Rumble as well. The opening Cruiserweight title match was okay and we saw Gregory Helms jump to Smackdown and win the title. The Rumble was placed fourth on the card and was an above average Rumble. Triple H and Mysterio dominated with both drawing the number one and two spots, Shane eliminating Shawn to further the storyline, RVD returning, and Mysterio winning lasting longer than anybody. John Cena faces Edge in a fun match for the WWE title where Cena regains it. The main event for the WHC title was horrible and saw the Undertaker start his feud with Angle.

2007:One of the best Royal Rumbles as well. The opening tag match was pretty good. The ECW Title match was the only real dud. The WHC Title match was okay and saw the crowd turn on Batista. The Last Man Standing match between Umaga and John Cena was great. The Rumble itself was the best one to date in my opinion. We saw Edge last long and dominate with Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels fight with them in front of his hometown, and Undertaker come out at entrant thirty and dominate. The last twenty minutes you don't want to miss between Rated RKO, Undertaker, and Shawn Michaels. It was great. The last ten minutes with Shawn and Undertaker was the best wrestling of 2007. Undertaker won becoming the first to win at number thirty.

Overall, a great set to have. I have the complete set which comes with four cool memorable cards for each set. The way the inside is set up and the DVD sets are set up with interesting facts about each Rumble are great. The only complaint is how terrible the box is on the outside. It starts tearing almost a day or two after purchase.

2/12: The Legacy of Stone Cold Steve Austin
3/25: Triple H: The King of Kings
5/6: Evolution of the Hardys
6/3: The Rock
7/8: Best of Starrcade
8/5: 20-disc SummerSlam Anthology
8/5: Life and Times of Mr. Perfect
11/4: Edge
11/18: Randy Save: Macho Madness
12/9: Sting

Wow, holy shit that is quite a collection and I'm sure to get my hands on all of these. I couldn't be happier as a wrestling fan to see this group of DVD's come out.

Steve Austin: Obviously the biggest name of the last decade in the business, and hopefully he gets a pretty good DVD. I just am not a big fan of the 4 vhs tapes I have.

Triple H: Should be good in my humble opinion.

The Hardys: While I bad mouth the Hardy's there is no doubt they deliver when it comes to gimmick tag team matches. They have ten years worth of material, so they should make something pretty decent.

The Rock: Hopefully more promo built then his matches. His matches were never great, but his sketches were some of the best in the business.

Best of Starrcade: Thank you, Thank you Vince McMahon for finally realizing that WCW contributed something to the business. Please, don't be a one disc 90 minute video, if you do it, make it 3 discs and give it the proper respect it deserves.

Summerslam Anthology: Um ya, need I say more. My opinion, the best pay per view of the year, moreso then the Rumble and Mania.

Mr. Perfect: I think I just had a joygasm. Seriously, a Mr. freaking Perfect DVD Oh my fucking god. I will be camping out for this one myself.

Edge: See above. It's about time that the biggest heat generator of the last 4 years gets his own DVD. Hopefully it's a proper one. The only problem is, this DVD is going to be splitting matches with the Hardy DVD. Hopefully this doesn't lead to an Edge face turn to promote the DVD.

Macho Man: Holy Shit. McMahon acknowledging another one of his most hated wrestlers. I don't give a shit. I just hope it doesn't become a Self Destruction DVD, but I think it will. Who cares, just give me some matches and promos with the guy and I'll skip the featurette, OH Yeah.

Sting: I just died, are you freaking kidding me. We discussed it a few weeks ago, and now the WWE is ready to do something about it. Set for a December release, this one can be pushed back if the WWE manages to sign Sting away and let him do the DVD. I can wait a few months to here what the Icon has to say. I really, really think we will see Sting in some capacity in the WWE in 2009.

WTF?

11/18: Randy Save: Macho Madness

Randy Savage?About damn time! But why?I mean Randy and Vince hate each other! My god Didn,t see that coming.Does anybody think this may be like The self-destruction of the ultimate warrior?
